    want some good opinion..I got in Welback for Elmander but still have Drogba..I was thinkin of gettin in Tevez for Drogba but delayed takin that step..As a result Tevez has gone up to 11.2 but Drog has fallen to 12.4..so should i go in for the swan or wait for sometime n wait for Drog to hit some form...cheers

    I'm in yee boat matey.

    It seems as though when VDV plays, Bale doesn't get many points. I didn't make the transfer on the basis that I think VDV may well be rested at some point. Bale seems to be super fit and I remember Harry playing him after he almost killed himself ripping Inter apart in Europe.

      Gd to hear a few of yee are sitting tight with Bale!!

      So if i don't do the VDV Bale switch, any transfer suggestions?? Thoughts much appreceiated!!

      He was wiiiiiide on the left, didnt get the ball much and when he did he couldn't do much with it since he wasn't at the centre of play. With Fabs out, i expect him to return a decent haul.

      Thanks. I have both, so Fabs out this GW will possibly mean more action. I am thinking that I might have to lose Nasri in the WC when I use it. Probably a good excuse to bring in a player with a double GW when I do.

      nasri could have scored twice tonight he shot outside the box when0-0 and only for cech to pull off save of the march it was going top corner o ly for him to get fingertips to it

      2nd chance was a one on one he tried a chip bu messe it up and was an wast save.

      He looked good on the ball but mos the team were involved

      Krul > Begovic.

      I'm mulling over transfers big time.

      I want shot of Cole, but I want to use the funds to get a heavy mid like Fabregas or Gerrard. It'll be a two or three part thing, and I'll lose Drogba too.

      Plans are something like:

      Cole > Rafael
      MGP > Fabregas
      Drogba > Berbatov

      But then I have no Liverpool coverage... It's really tricky.

      Maybe Gerrard for a few weeks before switching to Fabs. Torres is too much of a risk for my liking.

        I'm leaving my keepers alone (even though signs aren't great) until GW 27 when I'll get Begovic and Foster.

        Want Cesc in for the City game but would mean 2 successive 4 point hits. I'm thinking Vidic --> Rafael + Dunn --> N'Zog next week, then Nasri --> Cesc and Tchoyi --> Adam (DGW).

        Regarding Torres, he's my skipper for this week so I hope you're wrong.

            Already got Tevez tonight, didn't need the other transfer. Had 6 odd million in the bank saved for him 🙂 Feels good to have almost full team value. Did quite well with all the money in the bank mind.

              Cool.

              That's alright then.

              I wouldn't rush to take point hits seeing as a WC will be available very, very soon.

              Just paper over the cracks for a few more weeks, maybe rig a team specifically for GW 24 (the double gameweek) and then right after that one, WC and then build a solid foundation to last you the season.

    Was about to bring in Gordon for Jussi, as Foster's fixtures are diabolical. But isn't Reina a no-brainer until the wild card? Great opposition including 2 doubles? I have Konchesky also.

    I'm also not convinced Sunderland won't concede against a well-rested Blackpool, even without Chaz Adams.

      Malouda has to go.

      He's not making much of an impact, and seeing as Chelsea are playing much more for set pieces, his value drops as Drogba and Lamps are now playing.

      With a wildcard literally just around the corner, I'd just look to plug gaps. Get players that will score well now, and if your team balance is a mess, o well, you have that WC.

      Malouda > Van Der Vaart or Gerrard

    Can't decide who to captain:
    Nasri
    Tevez
    Torres
    VDV

    I've discounted Nani as Birmingham's defence at home is too strong.

    I would have discounted Nasri too until I found out Fabs is suspended, which makes Nas the main man again.

    Right not I'm leaning VDV, but he could limp off injured at any moment. Torres has Wolves at home so by all rights should score a couple, but you can't tell this season. Tevez and Nasri have been in great form but have perhaps slightly trickier fixtures.

    Who are you lot captaining?

    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

    My new captain selection tactic worked a treat on boxing day. I'm a toon fan so I decided to hedge my bets against us losing against man city by selecting tevez as my captain! BOOM! Suddenly the pain of losing didn't feel so bad anymore. Up into the top 10,000 with that decision! BOOM! Should I repeat the feat again today and go with VDV?

      I'm in the same boat, but have one free transfer and may go for Gordon & Krul. Fixtures would be BPL, BBN, WHM, NEW, up until the wildcard deadline.

      Is it worth using a transfer on a keeper this season or go with foster and save two for next week?

        Barton has looked good recently and I think he's your choice out of those three. I'm in a tough spot with Barton vs TOT, N'Zogbia vs WIG and Bardsley vs Blackpool all vying for one spot.

        I'm 50-50 for N'Zogbia and Bardsley at the moment, and may go N'Zgobia despite Arsenal's form.

    Alrighty folks - never post these days but been on the site for 3 years - way back when it was very quiet. Looking some advice as its too hot here in Perth to spend any more time in front of my PC.

    Want an attacking Liverpool player in - risky i know but either...

    A) MGP > Gerard (0pts)

    B) MGP > Gerard + Elmander > Wellbeck (-4pts)

    C) MGP > ???( Torres (-4pts)
    Please suggest replacement for MGP

      Its hard to call - but i fancy Wellbeck this week. No point in you getting rid of Carrol though for him. Not keen on Rooney away to Brum even though i am a united fan - they are due a slip up soon and more than likely now esp if Nani isnt fit. Berbs cant keep up the scoring surely.
