Members’ Stats Updated

The Members’ Area and Beta Sites have been updated with all the stats from tonight’s games. On the Beta site you can now analyse the team and player performances in detail then, and see just why Charlie Adam once again snatched Fantasy Premier League Bonus Points from the jaws of defeat.

Apart from the obvious (Nani, Simon Davies etc) the other leading performers on the night included United’s Darren Fletcher and Rafael. Blackpool’s full-backs were influential and contributed plenty going forward, while Cameron Jerome’s statistics certainly back up the decision to hand him the maximum 3 Bonus, despite his failure to score to find the net.

Member’s can visit the Beta area here and use the dropdown to switch stats to “Current Gameweek” to make some in-depth analysis.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Read the last couple of pages (including this one) for interesting info on the topic. The variables of your team's current construction, etc. obviously also come into it.

There ist a set answer to that mate, depedns what your plan is, I may wait as long as p[ossible, see how window pans out - Edinjeko, or however you spell it, could change Tevez's situation for instance.
Only prob is a DGW right after the last time you can use it ...v tempting...but could be destructive!

A great score one week will often be a decided dodgy one the next for no good reason besides luck. I bet they don't list their score when they have the bad round.

    Morning all,

Looking at a way to bring in a Chelsea player, without getting shifting any of the DGW players out. Can't see a way to do it & I don't like it one bit.

Midfield is identical to mine except I have Albrighton instead of Yaya. My midfield has worked all season so you're fine there. Kingson isn't going to be keeper for very long at Blackpool. As soon as Gilks is back, he'll be between the sticks.

One problem with your team is that you will have a very hard job choosing a starting XI each week. You'd want a few players who you know are going to be on your bench, week in week out. If you know your preffered starting XI, you can downgrade those players to cheaper players and use it to make the players who are actually starting better.

Does that make sense? I might have rambled a little

is Kolarov a def non starter tonight?

On another note was at the Fulham game last night and get your cash on West Brom to eb relegated, Dorrans and Brunt particuolarly poor. No leadership from the bench, for the captain Carson (waste of space) just no fight at all.

Not sure how this effects ppls fantasy prospects but I having seen firsthand I would seriously offload.

Yeah, I'm not sure where people are getting this idea that, all of a sudden, Kolarov is going to be consigned to the Citeh bench forevermore.

He had a bad game and got pulled early. It happens from time to time. For all we know he could have been ill or maybe just had some personal problem that day? Either way, he's one of Mancini's buys and the guy rates him highly.

He's not the first player to be withdrawn early and he won't be the last.

But I would be pretty certain that he still figures heavily in Mancini's first team plans. I've got no intention of getting rid just yet.

On the plus side, even though he's on my bench, he's now 4th highest scoring defender, and much cheaper than the others. So I'd expect a lot of NTI and a price rise. Silver lining.

    Nani Malouda Nasri VDV Adam
    Drogba Elmander Carroll

I think I'm pretty well setup for the next WC and whatever changes I wanna make.. My focus is on, Robinson Toure Malouda Elmander and maybe Elmo if he's a rotation risk.. Plan to get Fabregas in with Nasri for their double in GW 27 but that could change of course, also have two freebies this week but will probly only use one.. Anyways what are your thoughts? Cheers

    Mornin peep,

Looking ahead, who would u rather have:

    A) Rooney & Hughes
    B) Berba & Hangeland

I like the the attacking threat of Hangleand but Berbas place doesnt seem as nailed on as Rooneys, it's a toughy.

Berba will always be a risk - when he's dropped it's at home. But his PPG is much better at home.

Add those 2 together and he's never a fool proof signing.

Anyone else thinking the 2nd WC that needs to be played by GW27 is a bit of a "waste" in the sense that most of us have increased team value already by using the first WC and that most could with a bit of tweaking have our team the way we want it by Gw27 without the WC anyway?

    Or is it just me?

GW 24 seems all the rage. Gives two weeks to make any further amendments in the run up to the monster DGW's. Or, possibly keep two transfers & bring in two Goons straight after.

Ya I'm very close to my WC team as it stands.

Have a feeling it will polarize everyone's team around the same players too, especially with the double GWs and the majority having to use it at the same time.

I've thought out roughly what I'm going to do and it's all pretty much possible without hits anyway, there are so many players in my team who I want to keep and have value tied into, I don't see the point is transferring out for DGW punts only to WC them back in at a 1 to 2 mil loss.

Surely rotation beckons for the Caveman. Once the second best player in the world is match fit.

Leaves City with three strikers &, well lost count of how many other players.

      Very unlikely.

Tevez has an extraordinary record, and is one of the best players in the world. He'll keep pens and will play every match as captain. The only issue will be whether Dzeko alters the formation which could see fewer returns from Tevez.

Personally, I don't see it happening. He'll probably rotate with Balotelli.

The more I look at it, the more I think GW24 (as soon as the deadline for GW23 has passed), is the best time to play the WC and as things stand, will be when I play it.

Some DGW players, have nice games outside these doubled weeks, so won't need to be shifted. i.e Blackpool (they have more games to come), Liverpool (have Stoke, Wigan, West Ham soon following), etc.

My worry, and I agree there are obvious advantages to a WC in 24, is that most of the transfer window activity won't have happened then, and since most people are already loaded up on the two 'pools the only real watershed there is Man U over Chelsea, which could be achieved without hits anyway for many.

Also take a punt on Stockdale as my reserve keeper. So WC in gw 24 makes sense to me.

this is why wildcarding now makes no sense. The best thing about the wildcard is you pick the best team going forward, fully on top of the fixture list with no changes needed. You've picked a wildcard team that already needs 4 changes to get it to where you want because your trying to stay on top of gw24, gw27 and gw28 onwards. On top of those 4 your defence is going to need immediate attention as bardsley and baird's fixtures go downhill from gw28 and evatt and jara aren't worth having no matter what the fixture list. So your wildcard team is starting you off with potentially 8 trades that NEED to be done to stay on top of the fixture list. Madness.

Adam looke the best he looked so far this season for me. He should have scored when he beat Foster and hit the post. if the strikers did not finish so cr*p and Foster not pull of some brill saves, Adam could have had another 2 or more asists.

Im hanging on to both NZog & Adam for now.
