Wenger has got to be looking for a reaction vs QPR. could be a bloodbath if they go up early on

Although Shalke is a tough match between now and then. But yeah, I agree - seeing as bought Giroud I'm chasing my losses and throwing him the armband again. :S

I've got no idea why so many people have sold. The lad's a machine, will hardly ever be benched to 'rest' him cos he never needs rest.

    2 FTs

Fabio, Federici, Gunter, Kacka - all need to go.

    Might go:

    Federici > Begovic
    Fabio > Wilson

    Double down on Stoke?

Pienaar still leaves me hoping Kackaniklic gets a start (looking unlikely)

    But

Kackaniklic > Noble is the only thing that's on and doesn't seem worth a hit.

Might hang tight on Kacka - he did have a blinder for Sweden, and has got minutes away from home this season. And they looked kind of flat without him and Duff.

Anyone have their doubts about Bale? I've not had him this year because of something in the back of my mind that tells me I'd be tempted to captain him too often and fail. Picking up on Giggs boson's point about Spurs having so many to get into the action...I actually think this will likely lead to Bale being less essential than he looks.

You have Dempsey/Siggy/Defoe/Adebayor/Lennon/Vertonghen. All look like they could be the ones to get goals each week. And before you say well Siggy/Demps/Ade have done nothing yet...that's exactly what makes me skeptical. I feel the points will be spread out a lot over the course of the season. Bale doesn't seem to me to be as focal as a player like Mata or Caz. If their team does well, they usually do well...if you get what I mean.

Bale is going to get some great points hauls I've no doubt but I'm a little wary of considering him the bee's knees with so many others in that team capable of big hauls potentially.

I just think Mata is inherently a creative midfielder and a playmaker...he makes everything...his assists are so deliberate...whereas Bales are mostly smashed shots that rebound for Defoe to tap in...if you get me. I think if Chelsea score goals Mata will be involved so often.

Mata as a focal player? Thats BS, he is just outshining the other three at the moment.

And as for Caz, on paper Arsenal have so many potential goal scorers.

Yes this would be true if they were equally good at attacking.

Bale is much, much more effective at beating a man and getting a cross in and much better at getting a thunderous shot off.

Na. If Spurs scoe gaols Bale will get points most the time. With at least as much involvement as Mata does.

Hazard/Oscar/Mata will go through hot and cold spells Bale's a class above FPLwise for Spurs.

Cazorla and Bale will just sit in my team long term. They'll be weeks where they explode at the likes of Stamford and the Etihad and weeks where their respective teams score 6 and they don't even get a clean sheet point.

I just hope they don't do a Nani of last year who's FPL behaviour bordered on ridiculous and cost me several transfers.

Pienaar to the Hatem bomb a good move...or play/upgrade Gurthrie (1.2m in bank) and keep Pienaar on the bench?

    jussi

    cuellar zabaleta cole

    bale cazorla noble sterling

    ba (vc) aguero (c) RVP

looks ok i think for next week, if aguero plays full 90 minutes in CL i think i will go with ba as captain.

Already used my free transfer, anything worth changing ?

For those planning to captain Caz, i'd be wary of QPR, i think they're stronger than people realise!

QPR are the most annoying team for playing well when you expect them to lose comfortably. Don't they understand we need them to get hammered for FPL purposes?

Would like some opinions on these moves:

Suarez, Lambert and Michu -> Berbatov, Crouch and HBA (that's -4)

also considering taking -4 points more to do Kacaniklic -> Sterling .

I'm concerned with Kaca not getting gametime especially with my midfield losing Pienaar for the next week and the defence needing time to be sorted out, Sterling even if I put him on the bench will at least go up in value and the sooner I grab him the better after this weeks performance.

Question is is this additional move worth the hit?

I've had HBA for 3 weeks now and he's done sod all. Not sure I 'get' him yet. Ba seems a better bet to me.

I have similar concerns about Kackaniklic. Based on nothing I have a hunch he'll start at Reading. He gets through lots of running, and more of his mins have come away from home so far (albeit still not loads). Plus they were flat v Villa. Think one if not both of him and Duff will come in.

But - I agree, it's hard having to worry about it. Maybe best just to get shot. But I think I might leave it one more week to do it for free personally.

    2FT's
Should I improve defence, Baines, Demel, Clyne, Hangeland & Nelsen
    or
improve front 8, Michu, HBA, Hazard, Fellaini, Nolan, RVP, Crouch & Tevez

    Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Bale's bird has jsut had a baby - it is proven that the man's hormone levels get skewed after birth so that they are more caring i.e. less testerone or whatever. Bale won;t be up for it away from home.

Santi on the other hand, will be at home and eveything goes through him and QPR can't keep a clean sheet

Tevez has started all but one game and is the top scoring striker n the game. While he carries on being benched in the Champions League, I'd go for him.
