Wondering whether I should just take a 4 point hit (2 transfers) to get rid of Suarez and Agger for two players (undecided) who play in GW27 or whether I should wildcard and make the following transfers:
Begovic for Tremmel - Pretty much decided on playing Bunn for the rest of the season
Shaw for Cuellar or another Sunderland defender
Suarez for Aguero/Lambert/Dzeko/Lukaku/ No idea really
Puncheon for Bale
Agger for Wilson/Wilkinson (Stoke)
Don't really want to get rid of Cazorla, but want Fellaini. Michu out an option?
or should I hold on to the wildcard till GW29? Already missed the 0.2 Bale price rise.

He is pretty crap to be honest despite Le Fondre coming on in the last 20-30 minutes he has a lot more shots on goal and scores more. Pog will often go 90 minutes with 0-1 shots on target

Depends on what you paid for Michu. I'd rather have Michu than Sissoko.
Sure, if they were the same price it wouldn't be worth thinking about but I've got no value tied up in Michu (bought at 8.3) so there's a 2.3 price difference for me.
Then I'd definitely consider it with Michu's blank. Check out his form on Sunday and monitor Sissoko.

I'm doing this transfer at some point today. No value tied up. Gives me a strong starting line up this week but next week I'll be watching Swansea from behind the sofa. (like all season really, I've just had michu in fits and starts)
Interesting. I've only had Michu a few weeks so most of the season has been annoying watching him rack up the goals, perhaps the fear of that happening again is making me hesitate!
That's been my attitude all season, I haven't played for prices at all which is usually a good tactic but with all the successful bandwagons it's been a bit painful to watch the kneejerks work out at times.
Disregarding the timing of the transfer do you have a view on its merits?
Tbh, I don't really know. He's only played 3 games, but he has (by all accounts) looked pretty dangerous, is playing high up & does have good fixtures. But then Michu has been great. It's a decent option, anyway.
I'm in a similar position. Thinking about dropping Fell or Michu for him to upgrade my defence but as a Newcastle fan the imminent return of Ben Arfa could hinder Sissoko's attacking threat.
It could but I expect Pardew will want to keep the attacking momentum going - I think Sissoko was priced as a CDM/CM and he's going to hold down a place at CAM for the foreseeable which makes him a a bargain. Ben Arfa should displace Gutierrez out wide so Sissoko might have to do a bit more tracking back to cover but he should still see plenty of action going forward imo. Tough one to judge though.
I have been pondering the same thing. Decided sissoko is still too much of a questionmark, will wait a few weeks. But will get fellaini instead of michu for the next couple of weeks. Also depends wether sissoko will be used as 4th or 5th mid i guess, so whether you plan to rotate him or not.
He'd be 4th mid but with occasional rotation with Maloney depending on form and fixtures.
Sissoko was outstanding again last night - looks a real class act to me.
Yep, he could easily have had a couple of assists if the linesman had been kinder and came close to scoring again. He just looks a threat any time he gets on the ball.

Cisse is surely going to go nuts sooner or later - the chances are going to keep coming given our improved attacking threat and decent fixtures, his price still just seems a bit steep though. 8.0 would be great but 8.8 is a stretch for me.

I'd probably stick this week in your position rather than take a hit if you can field 11 anyway.
Trickier for me to accommodate - my forwards are RVP, Sturridge, Fletcher currently. I'm keeping Sturridge and RVP for sure (at least short term) so I'd need to find the cash to do Fletcher -> Cisse.
I suppose I could do Michu & Fletcher -> Sissoko & Cisse.

Need to take a hit to field 11 this week. Doing Hughes-> Santon or Debuchy, do I partner that with one of Davies/Johnson/Michu or Sturridge out for a hit, and if so then which one, and for whom?
I wouldn't transfer out Michu or Sturridge, so basically IMO you are stuck with taking out a defender for a -4. If you want to keep Davies and GJ long-term, I wouldn't take the hit. If you're looking to get rid, I'd hit it. GJ is holding up a lot of money and I'm not sure I see any CS in his next two.
Maybe GJ -> Evans?

I've worked myself into a corner by getting Bertrand in for the last few games. Worked beautifully - an OOP Chelsea defender for 3.9, you can't get better than that. Except he let in goals left, right and centre, got no attacking returns and is now nailed to the bench 😡

I'll be okay without a hit, but if I weren't, and the hit for instance was to ditch Davies for Wilson, there's a strong possibility that it's worth just going with 10 an delaying the transfer. I don't think many will, but it's something people should consider based on the potential transfer.

I've already got Fellaini so won't be getting rid of him for Sissoko but if I was looking at bringing one in now, I'd go Sissoko. I reckon he outscores Fellaini over the next 3 GWs - he was unbelievable again last night. Ghosts past players for fun.
You can then upgrade to Fellaini for Everton's probable DGW later in the season.
Ben Arfa also an interesting option if you're looking for someone under the radar ...
