The double Gameweek dominates episode 103 of the ScoutCast, providing a timely antidote a pitiful weekend of points scoring that saw even the great and good struggle. While your hosts hardly fit into that category, Granville and I dust ourselves down to rinse through the double Gameweek options, popping in on the Professor to get the “Rate My Team” viewpoint, before Jonty crashes the party to serve up another community themed conclusion.

This time around, Jonty brings a tale of armband woe: a Fantasy manager who misses the captain target with frustrating regularity. Whilst that manager’s luck should offer cheer, Jonty is also armed with a plethora of captain statistics that come courtesy of a former “Full Jonty” victim. Those particular revelations have me staring into the eyes of a certain Dutchman and wondering where it all went wrong.

    Guys, is it worth taking a hit to bring in DDG for Begovic?

    I've already taken -4 to get Baines, Felliani and Sagna in. My other keeper is Bunn, and I'm thinking if he keeps his place, he'd be a good rotation choice when Man Utd have Arsenal and Chelsea. I've got the funds, but would not be willing to transfer Bunn out for DDG.

    Advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

    Just observation.. Is any of this true to you?

    A: The better you do in FPL, the more time you spend on FFS.
    B: The more time you spend on FFS, the better you do in FPL.

          Could do but I think United will stick a few past Stoke who look very poor now. I've taken a -12pt hit this week for Baines, Walcott, Fellaini & Demel so I agree with that side of your thinking but not with the players. Is there any way you can free up money for bigger hitters?

                Yea I would play Sissoko and go for a 6mill Defender, unless you really want Baines in that case maybe downgrade Lambert for Ruiz if you can afford him or Anichebe.

      If you're happy with the rest of your team, I wouldn't take a hit to dump someone like Benteke. If convenient though, I would try to get a Sagna/Fabianski/Walcott, Giroud maybe even Gervinho.

        They only have Millwall, and crucial relegation battles ahead. I'm not sure how obvious it is Saniul.

          You're right, but I perspnally don't see Wigan underestimating Milwall. After all, lower league teams have upset so many teams. in both the Cups this season, and Milwall beating Wigan is not altogether impossible.

            Half my FF games include FA Cup in the scoring, with all their extra games to come I might slide a couple of Wigan in for the rest of the season with a couple of my last few transfers.

            At least rotation is rare, if the scoring unspectacular.
