No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

    Loving this. Views please guys. Anything missing. Was having a punt on snod as a norwich mid but I feel johnson is worth the punt for 1.5m less. Thanks alot

    Don't feel too happy about no Lukaku or Benteke and not entirely sold on Oscar.

        I hear what you're saying, I think that after I've shipped my Chelsea I'll up my 4.0 to a Boruc or Sunderland keeper. It's for the first half a dozen or so weeks.

        Which defender would you team Foster up with?

      For me, being a Gooner I wouldn't bank on early season Arsenal clean sheets, so maybe down on Mertesacker and spend a little more on improving Colback or Rodriguez?

      A solid front 5 to start with though, I like.

    I dont have the cojones to go without RVP,I put Nolan in as I had 1 million
    leftover so replaced Larsson with Nolan.Have I spent too much in defence??

    Two questions...

    (1) I like Liverpool and Arsenal's opening fixtures, so Sturridge or Giroud?

        I should have said, I've also got Walcott... so it's a question of whether I should double up on Arsenal's or Liverpool's attack? Or neither? (Rest of the mid / attack is currently Hazard, Mirallas, Williams, Soldado, Dzeko.)

    How am I looking chaps?

    Boruc, Speroni
    Cole, Toure, Reid, Chester, Ward
    Hazard, Walcott, Coutinho, Mirallas, Kim
    Soldado, Giroud, Lukaku

    Hating having Speroni, Chester and Ward at the back, but can't really find the extra 0.5 for an upgrade to Turner, and they'll do.

    The plan is for an outrageous 8 pt hit next week to ship all my Chelsea players for the defender of my choice and a midfield and forward bandwagon. Probable WC after GW3.

    Anybody finding it difficult to have Man City attacking coverage in their team?

    Silva and Dzeko are the only real options in my opinion and even then, Dzeko is a rotation risk.
