The ScoutCast – Episode 109 – Two Men

No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      Some nice differs in there, I dont like it much as I think Kosh wont be good value, especially if Arteta and Sagna are out. And Lamps is guaranteed not to play 2 games.

  RVP...His price reflects his captaincy potential. Otherwise, he's well over-priced and he punches a hole right through the rest of your team. I won't be entertaing him till GW4 because there's plenty of more likely candidates until then.

1. Is k toure now a risk due to the news of agger and skrtel being fit? If so, I will get mignelot

evening, I posted this earlier, but the boards were mental

I'm really struggling for 2x 4M Defs & 1x 4.5M mf.

Given all the injuries, uncertainty and new signings I'm currently on Chester, Ward & Morrison.

I'm a little uncomfortable on Morrison, is Jedinak more certain of starts? I've even considered Lucas for the security of starts, but then had a word with myself and looked elsewhere.

Any views apprciated

        cheers Evs. I looked on the CCFC message boards the other day and most of them were suggesting John, Caulker, Hudson, Brayford which went against your post. I think i'll go for Burner based on this excellent scouting news. John will only be temporary until Taylor returns. My mate is bluebirds season ticket holder and says Taylor is quality for them, but he's on hols at the moment so can't get his view on the first choice back 4.

  ive got those, only Turner instead of Chester. Read somewhere that cardiff should be defensively strongest of the new promoted sides. They`ll be on my bench pretty much all the time anyway, so not so much to think about.and im confident in Ravel, for start of the seson at least, i dont think that hammers have a luxury of leaving such in-form player out...

Idea for the ScoutCast

An "Ask the Scouts" segment...

During the day of the ScoutCast, the Scouts ask for questions or topics for discussion on FFS. We all suggest good questions / topics. People could up/down vote suggestions to give an idea of what is popular. Could be anything, like about FPL strategy your own dilemma of the week, or lighthearted type questions.

Then on the ScoutCast, they pick a few (1-3) good ones, a mix of different types, and discuss / debate it for a few minutes each question / topic. Panel would be Mark, Granville, The Prof and Jonty.

If they wanted to mix it up even more, they could invite a member of the Community onto the segment each week.

I just got so excited about the scoutcast (well, mainly because the season is fast approaching, but anyway...) that I opened an old XO to listen to it with a wide smile on my face. So, on a scale from 1-10, how would you rate my life??

Btw, to give the joint venture a chance, I'd try all British instead of all English. Could also try an all outside-of-Europe team?
