Feeling rougher than a Lee Cattermole tackle, I manage to patch myself up to share a microphone with Granville for another Podcast episode. Tonsils in tatters, the usual round of blows come my way as my co-host strolls into the mini-league distance with a comfortable three-figure lead.

We talk Rooney vs Aguero and rinse through the ScoutCast regulars, while I end up getting misty-eyed about Stephen Ireland – one of a select band of “soft spot” players who rise to the top of my watchlist at the first sign of a semblance of form. And I wonder why I’m struggling.

Really need some help here please guys!

Speroni Chico Clyne Colback

Used my FT to get in Marshall as didn't want Speroni away at Chelsea.
Now I've got Clyne injured and Chico suspended so will have to play Gabbidon.
Not confident on Brady starting.

Should I
A) Stick to this team?
B) Distin in and double up on Eve defence? -4
C) Brady or De Guzman out? -4
D) Change an def and mid but -8?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated I can't decide what to do.

    My 3rd defender during those period.
    
    I have Coleman who I will always play,
    and Walker and Gabbidon who rotates during those period.
    
    I'm gonna play Burner on GW 18,19, and 21 where he have SOT SUN WHM.
    On GW 20 he up against ars so I'm gonna play Fonte instead who have 'better' fixture. *probably not*
    
    Or just have Mertesacker play as the 3rd defender throughout during those period.
    
    Actually the Fonte bit makes it confusing so just remove it.

      Something inside tells me getting rid of Mertesacker is a bad idea. If anything, he's a bit of a risk for the next two gameweeks, but after that, you will want him. So, I guess it comes down to having that extra 2 million. Not sure it's worth getting rid of Mert for. Plus, planning that far in advance, while is good for gauging things, can be tough, as something will invariably throw a wrench in the machinery.

      in the sidebar on their fantasy page it says "active" next to wildcard. that means they are currently using their wildcard (it would othewrwise just say "available" or "played").

        'Tis a bit odd. Although, with that rank, I won't question the guy. My only guess is that maybe injuries piled up or he just decided he wanted certain players for the busy festive period and didn't want to eat the 8 points, or however much it would've cost him. Probably just doesn't want to take a hit of any kind.

      I had him for a while and all he returned was a single assist in 6 game weeks. Don't be blinded by the amount of shots he takes, or what the stats say on him. It doesn't matter, as he can't convert any of them.

  I've got my eye on him because of his price and seems a guaranteed starter with AVB.
  
  46 goal attempts (best of all midfielders, tied with Townsend :shock:)
  31 attempts in box (best of all midfielders)
  14 shots on target (fourth best)
  30.4% shot accuracy
  
  I think shot accuracy is key and what I've noticed when watching him play. He's really involved, gets forward, gets a lot of chances, but just hasn't had the end product to produce the goods. But those numbers lead me to believe he's definitely worth keeping an eye on, especially when when/if Spurs can find their form.

What I'm basically asking is will all players be the same price at like 9pm today when I'm likely to make my transfers, or are price changes due to happen today? Any major players either way?

  Women don't understand stuff like that. They just don't have the imagination to allow for it, nor do I think that they are really able to chum it up with other girls like guys can with other guys (even perfect strangers), so they wouldn't understand this "community" and why it would be fun and rewarding. In a way, women are just more boring and limited. Don't get me wrong, they serve some purposes. I can think of one right off the bat.

      Ha. As a follow up, guys just like games more in the long run. Something fun, harmless (sometimes harmful, I suppose), and that you can just really have a blast with. We also like to build things, whatever they might be, and pit them against what other guys have built. Setting up a Fantasy Prem team and taking on your buddies and having all the trash talking, etc, is just plain fun. Guess in a way, guys are more immature, but in a good way, as we tend to maintain more of that inner child that can make life more enjoyable in the long run.

I have got some big problems. Two defenders are 75% and another two defenders have bad fixtures. Gerrard is down.

Pretty sure I should replace Gerrard, looking at Silva and Oscar.
Would also like to replace one defender, but I'm not sure which. Vlaar has reasonable fixtures after GW16 but is 75%. Collins rotates well with Ward, and is 75%. I have very little faith in Dawson at this point.

Any ideas?

Williamson, Coleman, Clark, Ryan Bennett, Chico
Ozil, Hazard, Brady, Ramsey, Brunt
Remy, Aguero, Suarez

thing about DF is that Ryan Bennett probably won't play, Chico is suspended, and Clark has Man Utd; so I'm looking to get in another defender possibly, while also reallocating budget

the majority of people in my ml own either suarez or lukaku with a rare few with rooney or aguero

so should i [c] suarez over rooney/aguero?
