Paddy Power Special – 3/1 on Man City to Beat Arsenal at the Etihad

Once again, Paddy Power have laid on another enhanced market for the weekend’s matches – this time around, our bookmaker friends are dangling odds of 3/1 for Man City to beat Arsenal at the Etihad in tomorrow’s lunchtime kick-off for those yet to register an account with them.

Bearing in mind that the regular odds of Manuel Pellegrini’s men winning for their eighth match in a row in front of their own fans is 4/5, this looks a standout deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

If you’ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from the Money Back Special on the Etihad match. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Olivier Giroud score anytime during the game.

To clarify, the City enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    a) Ivanovic -> Distin

    b) Dyer -> Hazard, Ivanovic -> Shaw (4pt hit)

    Which one guys? Thanks. 🙂

P.S. My midfield is terrible that's why Hazard is important, but is he worth it in the long run and for a hit?

I'd go with Everton or Chelsea. Fancy them to score a few so more chance of it happening early.

Lukaku or Hazard(C) for you IMO - play the fixtures this GW when form players face much tougher opposition than last few GWs

Feel free to rip apart the below.

    Vorm

    GJ, Terry, Burner

    Nasri, Schurrle, Ozil, Oviedo

    Aguero (c) Suarez, Lukaku

Subs: Tremmel, Januzaj, Baker & Clyne.

I'm yet to confirm Oviedo transfer so could do Redmond instead.
Could also up Nasri to Silva for -4. Not sure on that though.

Big week for captaincy choice. We've been spoilt the last couple of week courtesy of Suarez, but this week isn't so clear cut.

Suarez : + Seems unstoppable, + no Vertonghen, + Spurs have conceded 11 in 5, + No European football, + Spurs had Europa, - Key Pool injuries

Rooney: + Forward role, + Great form + High involvement in United goals, + Key Villa injuries, + Main striker for the League Champions, + United form about to increase dramatically ( 😉 )

Kun: +Incredible home form, - Arsenal likely to play tight, - Against best defence in the league

Lukaku: + Not in my team, -Against a newly revived Meulensteen side

Hazard: +Good fixture on paper, + Good form, -Palace have been tight, - Palace likely to play defensively, - Patchy player

I'm thinking of bringing him in. Its either him or Wally and I might captain the one I bring in. Also, I dont have him, but I think Giroud is a decent option nones mentioned. The only striker for the team top of the league has to always be a stand out choice no matter who they are playing, city wont defend it will probs be 3-3 or something.

I'd say after Spurs performance v Anji that it's a plus for them. Suarez needs to show he can score goals against higher ranked teans. He'll score on Sunday, unfortunately I can't see him score more than one.

Arsenal played their best 11 against Napoli on Wednesday night while City could afford to rest a few and still beat the European champions in their backyard on Tuesday night. They put six past a Spurs team who had a great defensive record at time and the extra days rest will stand to them.

      1-1 and 3-1 for me.

My advice on picking your captain:

Go with your gut. This week is a complete toss up so, in the end, it will all boil down to luck anyway.

    CS out....

Then do it, who am I to question your gut? I wouldn't advise it, but who's to say he won't get a CS with possible attacking returns from a set piece.

dont you think this is the week to try a differential? Nothing too crazy, but Roo and Lukaku seem the best options for me. I know its a risk, but if you wont do it this week than I cant see many other weeks where you would go there over the 2 big time forwards

    Gazzaniga
    GJ - Terry - Coleman
    Ozil - JWP/Ravel Morrison - Barkley - Ramsey
    Kun - Suarez - Giroud

2FT, 0.8 in the bank. What to do and who to captain. Probably gonna do Giroud->Lukaku.

    Season long would you prefer:

    A) Oscar, Fonte, Howard

    B) Hazard, Ward, Mignolet

Ignore price as its not FPL. Thanks

Kind of leaning to Hazard as well sometimes.

I think its a good call. Form over fixtures and all that but Tot played last night, Vert is out and I reckon it will be a high scoring game...

Deulofeu is gameitme risk but there are plenty of options better than Lukaku. If you have Lukaku OK keep him im not saying he wont do well. But if you dont have him here is your chance to stand out: Osvaldo, Welbeck/Hernandez(whoever replaces RVP), Flecher, Berbatov, Remy

I am having Gerrard and Chico 🙁

    mig 4.0

    terry maculey Chico b.turner Chester

    Hazard Gerrard Ramsey Lallana Morrison

    Aguero Suarez Lukaku

I need to get Gerrard removed , so Gerrard ➡ ?

I think Yaya Toure will be good as he his more secure in Christmas period than Silva ...

My gut says Rooney will go mental this week , but I am stuck with Lukaku ... shall I go for lukaku ➡ Rooney and Gerrard ➡ SHelvey/fer

Also I need Everton defence , full to confuse I am 🙁 .....
