A number of midfielders are placed under the spotlight, with Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all serving up some strong statistics. The performance of United’s frontmen at Villa and Tottenham’s inability to find the net under the now-departed Andre Boas-Villa also come under analysis as we delve into the data.
Yaya may be ahead of him on pens but still i think Silva is far better option.
Open ControlsYaya > Silva for penalties.
Kolarov looks to be on pens before silva aswell (game v.s. bayern)Open Controlslast year silva too penalties in absence of aguero and with yaya on pitch
kolarov is nowhere my friendOpen Controls
"u have to risk it to take the biscuit"
Silva is it!Open Controls
How am I looking?
Howard (FUL)
Davies (WBA) Clyne (TOT) Flanagan (CAR)
Shelvey (EVE) Yaya (FUL) Ramsey (CHE) Lallana (TOT)
Remy (CPL) Rooney (WHU) Suarez (CAR) (C)
Haven't done Aguero ----> Rooney yet, but this is how it will look when I do that transfer. Any other things you would do before the deadline?
Thanks. 🙂Open ControlsRMT

Pick one for GW 18 onwards
De Gea
Howard
Sir ChesneyOpen ControlsHoward
Open ControlsI have coleman, does that make a difference?
Open ControlsI don't think that should make any difference. They have nice fixtures.
Open Controls
All have good fixtures. Depends on your defenders, but I like Chesney.
Open ControlsI would say Howard
Open Controls
............Marshall..............
Coleman Mert Distin Ward
......Ozil Sess Hazard......
...Suarez Lukaku Rooney...
Boruc* - Shelvey, RavMo, Collins.
How bad is it?Open ControlsMidfield needs a bit of a boost but thats about it.
Open ControlsOzil>Walcott, Sess>Mirallas
Open ControlsAfraid I'll have to do the move I was criticizing on last page, Ozil out for Wally next GW..
Open Controls
Shelvey and Sess is out next week, problem is only 12.8 to get two in..
Open Controls
Oh 🙂 Doesn't look good for this week?
Open ControlsIt looks pretty good! Despite Marshall probably getting minus points, it looks solid otherwise. Think about it like this, if Liverpool score and Marshall gets minus points, it will be because of the mighty Luis Suarez (who you have) 🙂
Open ControlsLove the positive thoughts - and Suarez (c) should stack it up!
Open Controls
Sess is the only weak link. Otherwise solid!
Open ControlsReally?
1) Marshall should get minus points
2) Mert, Hazard and Ozil in the same game
3) If it hadn't been for Coleman scoring, double EVE defenders would've been a disaster last week.
4) Sess out of form.
5) Ward not likely to get a CS.
I'm skeptic. Cheers anyways!Open Controls+ No City.
Open Controls
The midfield is starting to change as you know Don - needs a ' Shake'n Vac'
😉Open Controls
I just put in J Rod, bookmark this for "Transfer of the Month Award" come early January
Open ControlsMignolet
Coleman Ward Metresacker
Silva Yaya Ramsey Hazard
Negredo Suarez Lukaku
How is that ????Open ControlsAlready used my free bringing in Rooney for Aguero but now considering Januzaj (out) - Piennar (in) for a 4 point hit.
Open ControlsNot Pienaar

Off topic but a MUST read!!
Its almost holiday time, most of us will spend some time in the pub heres a cracking article on pub etiquette at this time of year -

A)
Ravel - Ramsey - Ozil - Hazard
Rooney - Suarez - Lukaku

So 25% of the Prems managers sacked already. If Sam Allardyce loses the next 2 or 3 games I can see him gone too. Malky MacKay seems destined as well given the lunatic rantings of that badly dressed loon toon Tan. Could this be a record year of sackings? Moyes out anyone?
Open ControlsSpeak normal english please.
It is a crazy situation. I actually hope for Malckys sake that he does get sacked, it would ve a shame fir the fans but would probably get more backing and be more appreciated elsewhere.
Yes he was given a large amount of money to spend (7th highest in the league) but Tans and his little letch of a directors outbursts can't be helpingOpen ControlsI agree that Mackay has been poorly treated, but it almost seems like he is playing the martyr and trying to get sacked. His comment about bringing in 3 new players in January was pretty stupid. They spent loads in the summer.
Open ControlsHe did follow that statement with he'd need to sit down with tan and see what was available though.
Open Controls
so anybody NOT taking hit(s) this GW? 😯
I think I'll sit tight and beat the temptation to take it/them...Open ControlsI'm not. I had planned to take a hit, but looks like I'll survive with only Aguero -> Rooney.
Open ControlsComment removed. Please refer to our terms and conditions on posting comments.
I'm not, and I don't think I'll be benching Henderson this week either!
Open Controls
With the explosive scoring of messrs Suarez and Aguero, do we think this year's winner could have the highest ever score in fpl history?
Open ControlsDecent chance of that. The 12th player (captain) is helping more than the usual RVP captain of late.
Open Controls
For once, I'm completely happy with my team with no tinkering to do before the weekend. Every time my teams looked good on paper this season though, it's completely let me down!
Speroni
Bardsley / Evans / Baker
Hazard / Oscar / Walcott / Sess
Negredo / Suarez (c) / Rooney
Krul / Jedinak / MOlsson / Burner
0FT, 0.0 in the bankOpen Controls-4.. Kos, RavMo, Aguero -> Bardsley, Walcott, Negredo
Open Controls
No Lukaku?
I wish i can grow some balls to go they same way...Open ControlsWent Aguero -> Negredo just to keep some City cover.. I know Everton are bringing the points in but not a big fan of Lukaku.
Open Controls
Morning gents, on the lookout for advice on the below please.
Guzan
Terry Coleman gabbidon
Haz. Ozil. Ramsey. Cabaye.
Suarez. Aguero. Luk.
Lewis. Diame. Burner. Williams.
Am thinking aguero and cabaye to hooper and yaya -4
Leaving 3 mill in the bank
Will then do Ozil to Walcott next week leaving 4m to upgrade hooper if needed.
Or shall I just bring in roo/negredo?
Thanks for the help!!!Open ControlsHow much is walcott going to rise before the deadline ??Anyone??
Open ControlsI would never genuinely wish injury on any player, there there's nothing like a lengthy injury to a high-owned player to make the game more interesting!
Open ControlsNot if your differential is now out the window, and you are now "forced" to follow the herd and buy another highly owned player.
😕Open ControlsEverton keep on scoring though.
And Lukaku nailed on. Would hate it to miss another Ramsey iro pts/TVOpen Controls
"there's nothing like a lengthy injury to a high-owned player"
Open Controls
Yaya.

Fer/Kun/Sess->Silva/Walcott/Hooper - 8

😯Open ControlsI refuse to say "downgrade" when referring to transferring Ozil to Walcott.
Open ControlsI just use it to mean "free up funds" but you're right
Open Controls
sess or shelvey need to goes first to make way for wally?
Open ControlsLiue Suarez - captain in 24% of all FPL teams at the weekend and captain in 35% of all the teams in the top 10k. Interesting I take heart from the fact that 65% of the top 10k got it wrong. Im in good company.
Open ControlsFor those wondering
Hits are NOT taken into account for FPL CupOpen ControlsFor qualification that is (only)
Open ControlsSource? Im pretty sure they are
Open ControlsFor Qualification, i should have added
Open Controls
Did you send an email?
Open ControlsWhat? Are you sure about this?
Open ControlsI had a great run last season and got through a load of rounds but there will still thousands left in the draw when I eventually went out. It was soul destroying and I will not be getting as excited this time!
Open Controls
10mins cameo and YC by Silva would be just perfect tonight 😎
Open ControlsI doubt they would need him for 10 minutes.
Open Controlsyou should check the YC history Silva has(4 in the last 3 seasons in BPL)
Open ControlsExactly, he is not a kind of player who gets booked often. Those waiting for next yellow maybe in for a long wait.
Open Controls
Template seems to be
Suarez Lukaku and one of Rooney/Negredo
but will it be
Suarez Rooney Negredo by this time next week..?Open ControlsAlready shipped Aguero. Only one FT left now
A) Nasri, Kos > Rafael, Walcott (-4)
B) Nasri > Walcott (free)
C) Kos > Evans (free)
Can't do C with with Rafael. Won't be able to afford Walcott next week thenOpen ControlsIs your defence good enough to hold onto the FT for another week?
Open ControlsChester Collins Shaw Coleman
Don't think soOpen Controls
Nasri going pretty well. You sure you want to lose him? C
Open ControlsIf Nasri doesn't go this week, he'll go the following week
Dreadful away from home and not explosive enough for meOpen Controls
Keep Kos, fixtures are great after this. Nasri vs Wally, not sure. Nasri up against Fulham.. I would've saved one FT.
Open Controls
@Jinswick - you still considering playing the fixtures and alternating between 2 of Haz/Wal/Silva?
Haz-SWANS(gw 18)
Silva - CPAL(gw 19)
Walcott - west/newc for gw 18 & 19Open ControlsIs Silva even at the same level as the other two? Pretty obvious the answer is no
Assists every now and then and an odd goal every 5 or 6. Not on penos(Hazard) or playing pretty much as a second striker (Walcott)Open Controls
Will silva rise by 0.3 this week u reckon??
Open ControlsNa, another 0.1 I'd have thought.

10 years, 6 months agoAll this talk about yaya and silva can be discerned by only three pts imo
1) Silva is no 2 on penalties after aguero and yaya is no3
2)Silva is on 4 yellow and he could miss upcoming match (u have to risk it to take the biscuit )
3)Silva is by far better option going forward as he would play in his preferred position behind striker.
Its upto each person what weight-age to give above 3 pts
Personally pt 1 and 3 trumps the other pt , but who knows I could be wrong
