The last few Gameweeks have seen a number of midfielders stepping up in performance and offering us alternatives to the template picks. As Fantasy managers reassess their options and roll out the winter wildcards, we thought we’d turn to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in the members section in order to assess their current form:

We’ve hand-picked a number of midfielders across the price brackets for this article. Those whose displays have hogged the headlines in recent matches are joined by the popular Fantasy options as we compare their KPI statistics from the last six Gameweeks to the first 16 league matches of the season. For those members unfamiliar with the KPI stats, as previously explained, they focus on the frequency of key stats or events in order to track player form.

      It's not as though Everton stop scoring goals away from home, and Mirallas is in the middle of the attack lately.
      No, he has not lived up to hopes this season, but I think that with his underlying stats, his price is a bargain, and he's worth a punt. He'd be a great differential over the Lallana masses

    Kolarov and Aguero starting for me, would you also play Navas or Eriksen? I have Eriksen atm as he is at home but I hate having my attackers playing my defs, also have Gerrard and Suarez v Baines 😐

      I have Silva(i may sell him for Mata) and Aguero vs. Eriksen and Ade. And i also have Suarez vs. Coleman who shouldn't play and who i'll probably bench.

      It's annoying but you have to go with whatever you think will score you more points based on your prediction of the score in the game. City probably going to win, would keep with Navas due to them scoring more goals, more chance for him to get something imo.

        Silva isn't in 1, didn't even realize Silva was injured AGAIN. I'm actually going to ship him out for Mata instead of shipping Lallana regardless of which direction I go in the defense.

      Any alternatives?

      If Hazard goes on a drought I want to free up that 10.4 Million for someone else?

        Hazard will continue to fire, I don't believe in the phrase 'season keeper' but Hazard is staying in my team for the rest of the season. He's Mourinho's pet.

      2 expensive mids: silva hazard cazorla ozil

      2 medium mids: cabaye lallana mirallas eriksen

      1 cheapie: noone etc

    Silva to Mata on the cards for the GW24 though, as I probably won't have balls to drop Ozil before Palace at home...

        I kept him, as I had more pressing issues to deal with (getting Aguero among). And I remember like the last time there was a massive sales of Ozil and then he generated a lot of pojnts. Hopping for the same to happen 😀

      Looks fair enough to me, although I would be cautious about Ozil to Yaya. Then again if you've missed his points all season (as I have) then you may as well get on him now. Indefinitely 🙂

      Ozil still has decent fixtures but at 10.0 hasn't cut it and will be going on my WC, no reason why you shouldn't do the same

      Fonte gets BP's, Shaw/Clyne get rotated.
      You *could* look into Boruc, if you need 0.4m that badly elsewhere in your team. Otherwise Fonte is a great pick, IMO. I own him too.

      Burner is injured, isn't he? Or is passed over by new manager, can't remember. Missed a start though.

      Other than I don't believe the Mata hype, go for it. Your only differentials are Fonte and Jedinak so you may not make up much ground overall.

      By my calculations Azpili has greater Bps than Terry over the last 10 games also. Obviously Terry is bigger goal threat so you pay for what you get!

      You could do a lot worse, and he's a differential play, on top of all that.

      I brought him in with my WC, and while I half wish i hadn't, he's made it awfully easy to procrastinate.

        this isn't for this GW so still considering it..it's basically Evans + Lallana (Lallana has great fixtures and United will shore up defensively IF we sign a holding mid in this window) or Gerrard + Chester/Chester-replacement
