I've read many posts on here that people are set with abandoning the idea of investing in Dzeko for the coming weeks up to GW28 after a poor showing last night. The thing about players is they may do poorly one game but blossom the next.
With Pellegrini revealing Negredo is not 100% match-fit, this led me to believe he will use Dzeko as a starter whenever and wherever possible until Aguero returns for the rest of the games up until GW28. As for a player of his calibre, I am sure almost everyone on here knows what he can do and his ability.

Pellegrini has mentioned before that Jovetic is Aguero's back up. I think the only correlation between Aguero being out injured and Dzeko being nailed on to start is that Jovetic isn't match fit having missed pretty much all of the season give or take a few weeks.

Many people drafting him him and people bigging him up got peoples hopes up. They've already forgotten why they brought him in. It wasn't for the game against Chelsea, it's the following ones we want him for.

I agree. He was poor last night but he has to be close to #1 target for this week. Abandoning him is kneejerk. On the flip side, AJ (who has been brilliant) has HUL, mci, ars, BLANK, liv, as his next fixtures and is on the rise. I don't get it.
