The Big Numbers – Gameweek 35

We delve into the data once again this evening and assess some of the standout statistics over the weekend gone by. Arsenal’s fit-again midfielder, Chelsea’s Brazilian schemer, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham’s frontmen, Palace’s defence and Everton’s raiding right-back are amongst our main topics this time around:

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Thank you ahead of time for the answer, since I only have time right now to ask this question and will have to look back later for the answer.

Who has been more accurate lately with price drops, Total FPL or FISO? One has Silva close to a drop tonight while the other still has him more than 15% away.

Had a feeling suarez had been more deadly away so had a gander at the stats.
In 2014 suarez has scored 11 goals and assisted 8 (proper assists)
In that time he's played 9 games at anfield vs hull, oldham, villa, Everton, arsenal, Swansea, Sunderland, Tottenham, man city and scored only 3 goals in these games along with 4 assists.gets

You would never bet against him scoring or assisting every match but this sites reinforce my thinking that 5 or 6 points pre bonus is most likely this week.

Yeah he's not really the clinical type that thrives off the half chances you get in the big games. Not to say he doesn't perform in the big games, he always does

think it's sort of expected. first half of the season overall liverpool had the easy home games and tough away games, then 2nd half of season it flipped. so more away goals second half of season but not as many extremes like hattricks

It does it versus the wee teams.

And they've finally got rid of Moyes.

I'd expect a reaction at Old Trafford.

I'm going rambo. He's fresh, sharp and confident and Newcastle are probably the worst team in the league on current form. I'm already all in with three mancs vs Norwich and I really can't call that games scorers and result confidently.
If I had aguero he would probably be my first choice

Was 8 points down in my cash mini-league in GW30.
Am now 60 points ahead in the space of 5 weeks.

I'm not trying to show off (well...maybe sharing a small outbreak of morale) - just making the point that with 3 weeks to go including a DGW - if you are chasing in your ML - you can still close down a big gap.

    Keep at it lads 🙂

(And by extension - I'm still going to have to fight to keep my nose in front….no chickens counted yet 😉 )

    Current team:

    Adrian, Davis
    Baines, Cahill, Chambers, Chester, Burner
    Ramsey, Eriksen, Gerrard, Miralllas, Colback
    Suarez, Aguero, Rooney

    0FT; 4.0ITB

    This week: Mirallas-->Mata (-4)
    Next week: Adrian-->DDG, Burner-->Demi, Gerrard-->Nasri (-8), 0.0ITB w/ today's prices

Would you do anything differently? I'd be forced to bench Baines GW37.

What do you guys think Chelsea will do this weekend against Liverpool? Will they park the bus like they didn't against Athletico and PSG?

With Ivanovic, Terry and Cech out, their chances don't look too good

People seem to be saying they need to win it, it wouldn't be easy to park the bus with the injuries, while needing to attack, it doesn't look great but their minds might not even be on that game now.

They'll play their usual style for sure. I wouldn't call it parking the bus. They'll look to hold their shape and slow the pace then exploit our shape on the counter.
All well and good until your 4 down in the first half. THIS IS ANFIELD!!!!

hey all, would really appreciate some help with my team.

    mannone / marshall
    davies / distin / azpilicueta / ward / chester
    ramsey / eriksen / silva / barkley / hazard
    lukaku / suarez / aguero
    1FT, 0 in the bank.

Both Hazard and Silva in doubt, I’m thinking one of them needs to go,
Would love to bring in Mata but that doesn’t quite leave me enough for
    Lukaku>Rooney.

Not sure if it's worth taking a -8 to do the following:
    Lukaku > Rooney
    Hazard > Mata
    Silva > AJ
