Automatic Substitutions
f a goalkeeper in a participant’s starting Fantasy team does not play in any matches during a Fantasy Round, that goalkeeper will be replaced automatically in the Fantasy team by the substitute goalkeeper (provided that the substitute goalkeeper played in a match during that Round).

If any outfield player in your starting Fantasy team does not play in any matches during a Round, that inactive outfield player will be replaced automatically in the Fantasy team by a substitute outfield player, provided that the substitute outfield player played in a match during the relevant Fantasy Round and the starting Fantasy team maintains a Valid Formation. Substitute outfield players will be substituted into the Fantasy team in the order of priority nominated by the participant.

Automatic substitutions are applied at the end of the Round, when all matches have been played.

Not biaised necessarily. It just promotes playing ball rather than penalises playing points for a colleagues mistake costing them a goal. The recovered ball points are as important, if not moreso, than attacking returns.
