Paddy Power Special – 8/1 for England to Win, 7/1 for Draw, 6/1 for Italy to Win

After Holland’s stunning 5-1 rout of defending champions Spain last night, Paddy Power are rolling out a tempting offer for those yet to register an account. With Roy Hodgson’s England set to face Italy in the 11pm kick-off, our bookmaker mates are offering odds of 8/1 for the Three Lions to triumph, 7/1 for a draw or 6/1 on Cesare Prandelli’s troops to open their campaign with a victory:

Given that the regular odds are 2/1, 2/1 and 7/4 respectively, this is clearly another great offer from Paddy. Click here to get involved.

Those who already have an account with Paddy can still take advantage of a Money Back Special on offer. Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match as a free bet if Italy win – found out more here.

To clarify, the England v Italy enhanced odds special is limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified. New customers can only opt for one of the three offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

did cesar go from 6 points to 9 points at some point?

damn the cillessen to karnezis swap was a fail, but people were saying saves count for 2 points or something, so he should get up to 8?

    hopefully m'bolhi starts

Not the worst result when you look at it to be honest. A draw with Uruguay and a win vs Costa Rica will probably be enough to go through.
Also not too much difference between finishing 1st and 2nd given the draw

Suarez is not fit. They needed him badly tonight but couldn't bring him on. The plan was to win easily and leave him on the bench as 'not needed' but convince England and others that he was fine

It backfired, he was massively needed but couldn't play. Waste of a sub in a failed PR stunt

Sturridge was the only other English player that had a greater offensive output than Rooney by virtue of scoring the goal from his cross.

Yes he missed a good chance, ballooned a corner and had some outrageous shots from distance. Criticize his performance yes but asking him to be benched is a tad bit harsh. Sterling /Sturridge /Gerrard all had opportunities to get England levelled & made a mess of it.

Like Gerrard said in the post match interview, the better team won. But their performance suggests Uruguay are in for a game.

Baines is on 7..I'm trying to work out what the "stick" score is for a defender..Kombarov is a similar player for Russia and I have him on my bench..Ramos 7pts, Baines 7pts.stick or twist ?

England created more chances but of a lower quality. Italy edged it slightly but a draw 8 out of 10 times

I had Karnezis, Cholevas and James Rodriguez. I'm gonna swap out Karnezis for Mbohli and Cholevas for Di Maria and James played well to get me 12 points. So at the end of the day I really got 12 from 1 which is pretty good i'd say

im worried about m'bolhi not starting

but NTFM, who is the far right defender in your team? that is the guy who will be benched if you change formation (however if said defender hasn't played yet you can still bring him back)

I had cuadrado and karnezis and im benching cholevas

Well done on the Cuadrado selection. The defender on my right is Evra, does that mean I can switch to a 3-4-3 and not lose any point except for Cholevas'?

yes evra will go to the bench but then you can sub cholevas out for him

anyone who hasn't played who is on your bench can be put into the starting xi
