Depending on price i'll be on him like flies on ....
Ben yedder is another one i'd like to see in PL but i have no idea how old he isOpen ControlsGood in real life as well π
Open Controls
Damn.
All this gameweek has done is to revive some of the pre-season dilemmas I was wrestling with but throw a week's worth of data suggesting I got it wrong in my face.
I really wanted Fabregas before the season started but something had to make way as it's not possible to accommodate everyone. The question is whether to laugh off any possible transfers as knee-jerk nonsense or assume that GW1 was representative of the next few weeks in which case it's a sage move.
If I had someone dodgy to get rid of it would be simple but I'd have to lose Mata/Hazard.
Price changes and Fabregas' pedigree make the transfer more attractive, the use of a FT and loss of another class player make it less so.
It is looking rather like Fabregas is a better player playing in a better team than Mata though. π
Damn.Open ControlsBy the way, apologies for presumably reiterating the debates that have been raging for the last 12 hours, I felt the need to brain dump. π
Open Controls- Open Controls
Chelsea will cream all over Leicester.
Open ControlsThat's no help! π
Open Controls
Why do you want to spend 9.0 on a non goal scoring mid? You could get Silva as well, if you were a masochist.
Open ControlsThe source of the points doesn't matter to me - he scores points.
Also, his scoring record is good, at least as good as Mata's, probably better (haven't checked)Open Controlshttp://www.whoscored.com/Players/8040/History/Cesc-Fbregas
It's excellent. But Doos, doesn't agree.Open Controls- Open Controls
5 vs 3. It is a big difference. Check his History in the FPL app.
Open ControlsCesc will score 200 pts Doos.
Open ControlsFine.
Open Controls
I know you have a blind spot with Fabregas - I've been around long enough to see it π
But regardless - the figure I focus on in that tab is the points total, I don't care what the source is.Open ControlsWell, I am just calling it as I see it. Tbh, I was a bit shocked when I looked up his History - I thought it would be much better.
Anyway, maybe you're right. But I won't be getting him over Sterling or Ramsey.Open ControlsWorth bearing in mind that when he first started playing regularly for Arsenal he was only in his late teens - he's come a long way.
That's fair enough, I'm content with Ramsey and I'll be looking at Sterling once the next couple of fixtures are out of the way (I only have so many knees to jerk!)
I'm just 99% sure that 9.0 is as cheap as Fabregas will be all season...Open Controls
No.
Open Controls
Cesc is a much bigger goal threat than Silva, the problem is he plays deep and will get limited shots on target.
If he played in the hole, he would be a must.Open Controls
I was very concerned about having to go Fab over Haz, but found comfort in that Haz hasn't looked 100% fit and could use some games to find his feet. Luckily I was right - at least for now. Still feel I will do the Fab > Haz trade at some point.
Open ControlsWell this is it, I don't really want to lose Hazard as I'm sure over the season he'll be worth it, the trouble is how long do I have to wait for that to be true. It's a bit like the Ramsey/Sanchez thing - I chose Ramsey and am sitting comfortably. For now.
Open ControlsI think he will come good already this week. Sanchez might need some more time, although I don't think it will take a player of his ability too long to settle.
Open Controls- Open Controls
It's tricky...if costa was awarded the penalty, then hazard would have taken it and be off the mark...and you'd be happy with yesterday's events...
Don't let a bad decision by a ref influence your team!Open ControlsI think Cesc is the one to own for now but if Hazard gets into form and has a few minnows to bully ahead of him, then I'll be looking to get him in, maybe a double up!
Ramsey and Cesc look like great options though if they maintain their gametime.Open ControlsDouble up...I own Hazard.
Terry/Mata->Cesc/PVA -4
You like?Open ControlsYeah I kinda like those moves, always risky taking hits at this stage as you know though, Terry could easily be the Chelsea defender that gets a goal against Leicester.
The only thing with Mata is, after GW2, would you still prefer Cesc over him with their respective fixtures?Open ControlsI would still own Rooney. Besides, I would prefer Sterling from GW 4 over Mata.
I can just see this Chelsea team taking opponents apart.Open Controls
This. Terry to PVA for a hit π
Open Controls
Get Schurrle instead of Cesc.
Open Controls
De Gea / Myhill
Filipe Luis / Wisdom / Caulker/ Naughton/ Duff
Sterling / Ramsey / Mata / Eriksen / Sigurdsson
Rooney / Costa / Bojan
I was saving my transfer but now I can't help but think I have to get rid of Luis. 5.5 is too much to be wasted in my already mediocre defence which this week scored a total of 2 points!
Who should I draft in 5.5mil? Clichy, Debuchy ?Open ControlsOr do I give Luis 1 more chance and do Mata ---> Cesc ?
Open ControlsI reckon Luis will start this weekend.

I think it's too early for him, I'm waiting patiently πOpen ControlsDitto. Just repeating what all the jerkers on here are expressing π
Open Controls
Well week one was a complete disaster, ended up taking a bit of a hit to bring in Siggy and ship out Young.
So I'm drawing a line GW1 and pretending it never happened, I'm just stating fresh next week with a 20-30 point handicap on my ml rivals, because I'm so good it would be unfair otherwise. ; )
We shall never speak of GW1 again.Open Controlssame, i got 41, did young > sig and had to do chambers > dummett to fund it.
have you wildcarded?Open Controls
my team for next GW
Krul, Howard
Vlaar, Terry, Ferdinand, Lovren, Coleman
Schurrle, Silva, Fab, Sigurdson, St. Davis
Rooney(C), Giroud, Bojan
I'm going with 3 - 4 - 3...Open ControlsLooking for new defender, stuck on who to change. My line up thus far consists of:
Krul - Mannone
Ward, Lovren, chambers. - Cameron + Coloccini.
Ramsey, Sterling, Fab, Silva, Young
Rooney, D. Costa - Neismith
My current thoughts are to try ward > Hutton or someone cheaper in order to swap Young out at a later date if needed. Tis my first season, hard playing from sydney and not getting the continual team updatesOpen ControlsSo I've got Mata and Giroud. I'm thinking it's crazy to dump Mata after one GW, fixtures are great, so I think I'll eat the price drop for now.
Giroud on the other hand, if he's going down I think I'll get rid for a free. I'm thinking Adebayor as a replacement. He's nailed, on pens, got decent fixtures. Dzeko has a rotation threat and fixtures aren't that bad. Bony has transfer rumors hanging over his head.Open ControlsSeriously considerin Adebayor. Allows me to swap Eriksen for one of the other premiums too. reckon he's safe to start right? From what ive read Soldado is not part of Poch's plans and Kane still needs time
Open ControlsI can't see any of the other strikers threatening his spot, no... Ade could make a good Lambert in his setup, no?
Open ControlsAgreed.. IF i decide i need to free up some cash from my forward line(too expensive making it unbalanced) il swap Sturridge for Adebayor and Young for Sterling. and in a few weeks swap Eriksen for Fabregas/Hazard/whoever
Open Controls
the problem with Mata is that Utd midfield is shit... he drops too much in MF... I won't invest in mata, no matter who they play against... jus compare it to city or chelsea... you will see silva and fab in much more advance role than mata...
Open ControlsGo Remy Dogba. Take a chance.
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/5984/
Sort my Penalty Area Touches, then have a look at some of his other stats.Open ControlsRemy looked -great-, I agree with that, but he's got transfer rumors hanging over him + QPR have always struggled for goals... he's a HUGE punt and his price class is bad news if I ever want to get Aguero or Sturridge.
Open ControlsThat's the downside I guess! I just go around touting all these statistical table prospects, forgetting all about their negatives π
It is a huge risk, agreed, but it could pay off if you take it. Adebayor's stats are horrible. Use the same table Ctrl/Cmnd + F and sort by each column. I didn't see him play though, and stats don't always tell the full story. If he looked good during the game, then I'd get him. If not, I'd prefer Dzeko. Looked dangerous against Newcastle, and they are at home against Liverpool. Then, they have Stoke at Home again after that.Open Controls
is he gonna stay though π .. that is the main dilemma
Open Controls
Sanogo is injured, so Giroud will start for sure. Better to save your FT.
Open ControlsI'm guaranteed he'll start. What I'm not sure is if he's the kind of forward that's worth losing team value over when you've got af ree.
Open ControlsThat's a thing to be worried but he is capable of scoring double digit points tho. Just look at the midfield around him.

Some QPR news, a tweet from Toy Fernandes this morning,
Fernandes tweeted this morning: "Will be a good day for QPR fans. Some new names coming. Thanks to Fifa and WhatsApp. Mission almost completed."
It appears Vargas will be one, whilst Fer is also strongly linked. The Fifa reference I hope may be about Remy. I'm not sure regards the whatsapp reference, possibly to do with Isla's work permit arrving.Open ControlsNice premature GW 1 Attackers and Defenders Threat Tables. FULLY UPDATED for GW1

I think he's been training for a while, so should be back GW2. I don't really know though.
Open Controls
This team all good for next week barring any unforeseeable events.
DDG
Terry - Bertrand - Coloccini
Haz- Sterling - Siggy - Ramsey
Rooney - Dzeko-Pelle
Krul - Caulker - Van aanholt - AlbrightonOpen ControlsMata > Cesc for a hit? Last season I got burnt waiting for players to come good and ignoring prices. This year it's tempting to aggressively go for the opposite.
Open Controlsterrible.
Open ControlsFor a hit seems a bit crazy but I know what you mean about being caught waiting. I've already taken -4 to squeeze Siggy in. -8 seems a step too far for me.
Open ControlsThis is called "The Michu Effect"
Open Controls
Not for a hit. Mata has good fixtures and it is just to early to make such a drastic decision
Open ControlsI'm in the same boat. I think Mata has plenty of points in him over the next 7 weeks, but I tend to focus primarily on team value during the first half of the season, and I'll lose out hard if I stick and Mata has another blank whilst Fab is in the points again.
Open Controls
Right then!
I'm keeping Mata. Makes no sense to get rid of him before those fixtures. However, I do need Siggy.
Would you do DDG& Mutch > Krul& Siggy for a hit?Open ControlsYes
Open Controls
Best cheap midfielder for 6.5 or under?
Already got Siggy, and ideally would be someone to rotate with Bojan.
Ward-Prowse?
Ince?
Someone else?
Cheers!Open ControlsL'Equipe: Real Madrid agree to loan Di Maria to PSG if they buy him for €65m in a year. PSG want to pay less & 1st need to sell Lavezzi
Open ControlsWhat happened with that "Man united £100 million deal to bring Di Maria to Old Trafford"?
Just tabloid bulshite?Open Controls- Open Controls
That's the one, complete crap?

£100m for ADM? no way will Glazers sanction it!
Open ControlsThink it included wages and everything too..
Open Controls
I think it's basically all bullshite at the moment. Every time I hear Man U are 'linked' with a player now I just switch off. not sure who's in charge of the rumour mill but it's getting boring!
Open Controls
well if they want to sell Lavezzi I think Liverpool should take him off their hands for a sensible fee.

Surely thats proof against no Fabregas.Open ControlsMorning All,
Anyone taken any hits yet? If so, how many?Open Controls- Open Controls
@Tina have you actually taken that hit or just considering it?
Open ControlsDogba, you beat me by a point you bar steward! πΏ
Open Controlsbeing torn between silva mata and ramsey, already have cesc but he's a certain for me π any advice ?
Open Controlsso what is today's kneejerk???
Hazard to Cesc and using the freed up funds to do Terry/Cahill to Ivanovic?
on a serious note thought Chelsea looked awesome for 20 minutes with Fab running the show but looked very suspect at the back (Terry in particular) which better teams will take advantage of. Costa didn't look all that - glad the penalty wasn't given - whilst 9 times out of ten it will he clearly just left his leg dangling and fell when he felt contact rather that just hurdling the keeper and scoring which would have been easyOpen ControlsMata to Cesc seems popular. Some even doing it for a hit.
Terry looked a bit shaky, but overall I don't think the defense showed anything that would point to Chelsea not having the highest amount of CS this year.Open Controlsannoying as I will be left with Mata at a reduced price - not changing him yet with the fixtures to come but will be more difficult to ship out in future at £8.8m
Open Controlsalthough is tempting to ship out Mata for a week and rebuy at lower price - shame I have more pressing issues at the back!
Open Controls
i may have to resort to a Pelle punt :frown:
Open ControlsWhere best to use my transfer this week?
Krul (Foster)
Jones, Taylor, Clyne (Caulker, CHAMBERS)
Hazard, Ramsey, Siggy, MATA (SNODGRASS)
Rooney, Costa, Bojan
(0.0m)
a.) SELL SNODGRASS. He’s injured and will fall in value tonight.
b.) SELL MATA. For Sterling – to cash in on price rises
c.) BOTH of the above.
d.) SELL CHAMBERS. Might lose his place in the team.
e.) Do nowtOpen ControlsSticking as long as he doesn't drop. If he drops I'm considering Ade. Or just eating the drop and saving the FT.
Open Controls
This is for a draft league, same scoring system... Would you guys:
a) Trade Eriksen for Mata (as in give eriksen, get mata).
b) Trade Fabregas + Eriksen for Silva + Mata (give fab+eriksen get silva+mata)
c) Trade Fabregas + De Jong/Siggy (one of them) for Silva + Mata
Just simple Yes or No to all 3 would be great.
Thanks a bunch!Open Controls

Hull are linked with a 9m move for aboubakar. Would be an amazing signing and I for one would be happy with that as a better replacement for long. If aboubakar joins then he is in my team, insane amounts of pace and good finishing and scored 16 last season in ligue 1 and is still only 22. I hope we sign him!
