Mata in a WC?
Gimme a break man...Ramsey, no?No
Jovetic owners, he has to go?
For who?*whom
Naismith/Costa/Kun, take your pick
47.1 average for top 10k
42.7 for the rest
Credit to Smarty Pants and FPL Discoverygreat site
Superb site, should do a deal with FFS and get loaded on here...
Unbelievably high general average though. 16 points higher than yesterday's...
Lots of Sterling & Sanchez & Pool defense owners. This site is a deceiving subsample.
True, but this site's template gravitates towards, and even shapes, the top 10k template. Usually a good indicator of how the 'non-casuals' are doing. I guess today was a victory for the casuals then, right?
Wadi for the arrow and we will see 🙂
Top stuff. Just saw that too.
Good news.
Stupid Price System this year, now basically the whole of FPL can jump onto Costa bandwagon and his price will only rise 0.5 at most, so stupid. Not encouraging different teams at all.
Can't even afford to play the punts this season and that for me has killed a big part of the game for me.
Kinda agree, player prices too also mean that everyone has the same team!
maximum was always 0.3 per GW anyway?
not talking about max, just sheer amount of transfers needed for rise. e.g. 250k for 0.2 rise.
Bear in mind that the number of people playing FPL has risen to over 3m. When they set the pricing algorithm there was less than 2m. It had become too volatile.
I suspect most of this new crowd will be inactive beyond first 10 gameweeks, I doubt the core group of players has expanded too much. I guess it means price stability, just reckon a dynamic system would be more engaging, depends what you prefer i guess.
don't think it makes much difference to be honest - it just means those who go from bandwagon to bandwagon don't end up with 120m to spend on their Jan WC.
A good player is a good player, regardless of equity. The value only matters if you are sellingFair enough, and I guess this way, the game is more competitive too.
Someone has already pointed out that lower price rises actually encourage avoiding herd mentality. Now you can afford to ignore Costa or Siggy if you feel punty and think that someone will outscore them. Back then you had to get them just because of the price rises - they'd be out of reach in two, three weeks. The changes are really encouraging differentiation to me.
Everyone is ending up with the same team though, that's the problem. Ofcourse you can take a punt now but the thing is if that punt fails you can then easily jump onto a form player which seem unfair a bit to someone who risked it and jumped earlier for him. Likewise, if your punts successful and the players a gem, people can all get him cheap, meaning like scores and like teams all round to an extent.
That said, yes I agree, potentially taking a punt can give you a big points differential at minimal cost.Everyone would end up with the same team anyway. We'll be just able to get Siggy or another bandwagon object instead of Albrighton or another 4.5, who would be on 25% ownership anyway.
Fair Point
Because, we all never owned Suarez, Bale & RVP under the old system? 🙄
It was harder to move onto them late though wasn't it due to price rises? I mean i've stayed away from Costa, but despite good consistent performances, he'll only set me back 0.2/0.3 more if say i buy him in 2 gameweeks time (not sure why i'd buy on worse fixtures but it's a scenario.)
so on that evidence, bandwagoning is encouraged less, you are free to punt without the risk of being priced out later 😀
Great point...
Jimmys winning matches......
He might be 'bringing Sam back to Donegaaal again'
A) Fábregas Tadic Sterling Lamela
Sturridge Agüero Diego Costa
B) Fábregas Mata Sterling Lamela
Balotelli Agüero Diego Costa
C) Fábregas Gerrard Sterling Lamela
Lukaku Agüero Diego Costa
D) Fábregas Sánchez Dyer Lamela
Sturridge Agüero Diego Costa
E) Fábregas Sánchez Sterling Lamela
Pellè Agüero Diego Costa
Which is best moving forward, Liverpool seem to scoring goals need some cover for them. Any advice or suggestions.Hazard?
😯
for all the Rooney, and possibly Mata sellers, I assume you've heard that RvP needs a knee op
knee jerkers don't think. They just cry the week after
I might still shift Mata
Need to make room for Sterling.
Yes, that is why I am keeping Roo.
Mata though is already gone and it feels great!I'm waiting till after internationals, but I'm getting Sterling
got 0.9 banked so can absorb some price changesI have another FT in the pocket just in case, so decided not to wait on this one
as do I but I'd like to carry it over
worth a risk IMO if handling 2 FTs, but always may end up in tears
When though? Could be delayed till whenever.
I think they'll go early, especially with an international break now.
He's in the Dutch squad though isn't he?
Gotta lose one of them
I'm keeping Rooney but ditching Mata. Too many good 9.0s at the moment. At least Rooney is on penalties now due to RvP's absence.
FWD for up to 9.8 mln - who would be your choice ?
Adebayor.
did you watch him today?
luckily easier oppositions in the next few for them
Look at his opponents in the next two though, awful defences
No one is hugely exciting in that bracket at present. Adebayor maybe
Naismith or Pelle
Krul Bego
Jones Clyne PvA Chester Dummett
Fabregas Sanchez Lamela Siggy Marney
Rooney Costa Jovetic
2FT and 0 in the bank and want to do Lamela > Sterling. Need 0.6, any ideas? Want to keep Sanchez for now (didn't look great today but Wenger will surely not wanna play Sanogo up top for a while after that performance).
Successfully managed to avoid any CS points from the keepers so far 😆 making me think Bego out?Stoke have great fixtures.
I would sell Jovetic for a cheappooo
transferred out chambers for dummett, who didn't play. felt a little better when chambers wasnt on the team sheet. comes on after an injury and a goal to get a clean sheet and bonus. god damn.
🙂
Pick 1 for the next few:
A) Marc Wilson
B) PvA
C) Coloccini (own Krul already)I'm looking at A. Has to keep his place after that performance, and I fancy stoke to do well this season
Cheers for the reply. He's who I'm leaning towards, but I'm not clear as to whether he'll retain his spot. With Huth and Cameron returning it seems likely he'll be dropped.
I think Hughes likes him, as he's a better footballer than those 2. Plus he's versatile enough to play CM or full back if needed.
get rid of davis or caulker to be able to afford sterling?
davies
have 4.5 to spend... any recommendations?
PvA if you don't have him
DavIS
Soton midfielder..
Davis. Far from even being nailed.
Never mind. Assuming from above you actually mean Davies.
Davis mate. Soton MID
Do you think Remy may be used to cotton ball Costa once Chelsea sense a game is in the bag?
Can't really afford to have that much money on Costa bringing in a single goal....This is not a reason to sell the most potent offensive player in the game.
First season and 4 goals in 3 games is a very good return. Season keeper for me.
Surely Arsenal should push the boat out for Falcao if they are serious about winning the title?
I believe he said he didn't want a move to England, he definitely wants that RM move, he'd be very costly though.
Hoping Diouf really kicks on now, what a beautiful goal vs City. Great differential but he's fallen 0.1. and with pricing system will take thousands to rise back, ffs FPL.

Just to prove: with almost same players, each gameweek its always differentWow.
😯
I think I'd cry.
what the....
he took out Costa but still😯
😯
Jammy 4 points off the bench 😉Incredible, just wow
Brutal
He's fine!
There's 4pts coming off his bench...
Grim week, 40 all out. Oh well, it happens
Now i wanna do dzeko and jovetic to costa and aguero, gotta lose mata or rooney to fund it. Thinking ill ditch mata, right choice?yes.
really want aguero with CL upcoming - might be protectedI think he will get enough minutes to be worth it
youre gonna have lob sided strike force and a weak midfield.
maybe keep dzeko and get fabregas instead?I think costa is the man to have
37 pts, 46k OR.
Massive fall incomingyou'll still be dominating me 😉
Sick
Hull City are pleased to announce the signing of defender Brian Lenihan from Cork City for an undisclosed fee #UTT
any good??
Yeah he's been super for Cork this year, big jump going to England, wish him all the best though even as a rival 😀
Good signing that.
🙂
DAmn u Chambers ultimate troll. More pain that I actually was considering starting him instead of Hutton
it was right decision to bench him don't worry
incredible for the casuals who probably started him
i started him,lucky me
My rival gets him off the bench for Dummet 😐
Why wouldn't people start chambers, up against a Leicester side who we were tipped to keep a cs against, and if he doesn't play then someone else comes in the from the bench. I played my wc and got him and costa in, both in great form, started costa because hes worth it even if he came off the bench. Not luck, well yes luck but also good thinking xD, kinda. Having and captaining a man u player is where my brain went out the window...
Jove to xxx?
What else?
Bego gilks
Terry debuchy chester (caulker wisdom)
Siggy rambo sterling Lamela (marney)
Costa roo JOVE
0.4 1FTPick one please
A Zaha
Or
B Dyer (have Siggy)
ThxSo, THE question for me and many others i guess:
When to do the Mata => Sterling transfer?
A) do it today
B) wait untill transfer deadline is over
C) Wait untill international games are overC) what happens if sterling is injured on int duty or other importqnt plater. Save ft is my oppinion. I am in pretty much the same boat.
Rooney - Ade - Sturridge
Who to swap with Costa ?If it's Ade i have to downgrade defense further for extra 2 mil..
ade
Rp
Terry owners keeping?yup
Yep. Bigger fish to try and I wouldn't bet against Jose slamming his defence causing an inevitable string of clean-sheets.
I've decided that unless I need the funds elsewhere I'm keeping him all-season.
Easy peeps,
Time to get rid of Coutinho. Here's my team..
Guzan / Foster
Van Aaanholt / Chester / Moore / Caulker / Colo
Yaya / Coutinho / Mata / Siggy / Davis (Stephen)
Rooney / Costa / Ade
No money ITB and only 1 FT
Was thinking to take a -4 to change Coutinho to Sterling then swap either Yaya or Mata for Fab/Ramsey.
Not sure which of those two to take out as United have the easier fixtures but as we know they're attacking prowess is abysmal atm.
Yaya looked v good in the last game and was highly involved, should have had a peno too.
Problem is City's next two fixtures are ARS & CHELS.
Any feedback would be fantastic.I think your changes sound sensible. Really don't like Yaya (expensive - last season stats are unsustainable) or Coutinho (crap at shooting and rotation risk) this season.
Well, here is me
Krul Foster
Terry Clyne Chester Wisdom Hutton
Mata Sterling Eriksen Siggy Ramsey
Costa Rooney Naismith
1FT 0.4 in ze bank
1) Mata on very thin ice. Swap for Fabregas (no chelsea mid)????
2) Keep Mata and Rooney. Swap Eriksen (needs to go) for Tadic?????
3) Take a hit and get rid of Eriksen and Rooney for Aguero and AN OtherPlease lads advice on this swap:
Rooney Bony Ericsson to
Costa Naismith Sterling
-4Lurn two spel
Good transfers
Agree, all decent decisions. Although maybe hasty to get rid of Rooney with three great fixtures coming up.
Dier or Rose more likely to double rise this week?
rose is injured
What happened to him?
Probably neither after this performance
neither
Chambers is dat guy this year I think.
Disagree. Welbz is always dat guy.
9 years, 9 months ago
Is it worth wildcarding this:
Krul (foster)
Terry Coloccini Naylor (ferdinand) (wisdom)
Hazard Mata Young Ramsey (marney)
Costa Rooney Jovetic
to this:
Krul (foster)
Moreno Clyne Naylor (Van Aanholt) (wisdom)
Fabregas Sterling Mata Siggy (marney)
Sturridge Costa Pelle
