Normally Clyne, but having Sigurdsson would make the decision tough. I would play duff.

    Transfer options...

    A) Terry ➑ Berty

    B) Bony ➑ Pelle or Welbeck

    C) Mata ➑ Sterling

    D) Save the Transfer.

    Any thoughts please guys?

B-Bony has been a total waste of time at the minute. Gomis is detrimental to his game time. I'd go for Welbeck and pocket the cash.

Just had a look at your team, your front 8 is good for this week.

Wisdom and Bruce are problems, maybe consider getting Duff for one of them so you can keep Terry for AVL next week?

      1. Evs

Bruce is a massive problem, but as long as others are a cert (ish) to play in defence I could carry him for a bit.

I have no LFC cover which is a tad worrying, and I'm also concerned about Matas game time...

Plus Bony isn't firing, but seems mad to sell him at home v Sot plus decent fixs.

        Really tricky.

I'll be very surprised if Mata doesn't start this week, and if he does then he has the potential to score well. You could lose him for Sterling next week possibly...

Bony needs to go IMO but keep him this week. Then you'll have more time to assess the replacement options (Pelle, Welbeck etc).

I'm sticking with mata atm and he is repaying the faith. I think he was unlucky not to get 2 goals against QPR and his away record looks good and he's takin more advance positions, also can be a good differential.

3 strikers looks a bit heavyweight imo. Also why change a winning formation, I think falcao will start instead of rvp. Anyways Mata can also score coming off the bench(like 2goals against Norwich last year) !!

D = Presuming you still have WC and don't need major surgery this week.

All will play, this week is likely to be a low-scoring week, save for better fixtures next week.

I'm not feeling it. Terry looks a step slower this year and that is the difference between being caught flat-footed by Aguero's pace and using his positional sense and experience to stop threats and even make up for others mistakes. Chelsea not only have leaked goals, they've given up a lot of chances.

    @NABIL,

You said on the last page that the Merseyside derby isn't famous for goals, I disagree. I posted this a few weeks ago.

The numbers next to each match is the average number of goals across the past three seasons in all competitions.

    Derbies:
Manchester Derby - Man City v Man United - 4.25
    North London Derby - Arsenal v Tottenham - 3.42
West Midlands - Aston Villa v West Brom - 3.33
    Merseyside Derby - Everton v Liverpool - 3.14
London Derbies - Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, QPR, West Ham, Palace - 2.71
North West Derby - Liverpool v Man United - 2.37
    Tyne-Wear Derby - Newcastle v Sunderland - 2.33
    West London Derby - Chelsea v QPR - 2.00

    Other Notable London Derbies:
    Arsenal v West Ham - 4.50
    Tottenham v Chelsea - 3.42
    Tottenham v West Ham - 3.40
    Arsenal v Chelsea - 3.14

Interesting..but with these kind of stats, alot can change.

For example, a freak 6-1 Man City victory is included. QPR's defence is woeful and the 2.00 figure will be highly inaccurate I feel.

However, I do agree, the merseyside derby and north-london always seem to provide goals throughout history.

How about Baines instead? Don't fancy Clyne or Shawcross, tbh.

Problem is if I invest in Baines/Ivan I'd want to keep for AVL/Derby. If I get ADM, he could potentially be a 1 week punt and then downgrade so I can afford Costa. Might be hard to get Costa in if I invest in the defence.

Might just end up doing B, but with Duff. Leaving enough cash for Costa, if I downgrade Terry next week.....toughie.

I would bring in Pelle this week. Swans are in shambles in the defence.
You could definately save this week too, and do both next week.

not enough money itb to bring in Pelle this week...also if i save FT then i'll have to play Cahill which am reluctant atm

    Any Mods around?

Everytime I open an article using my phone, some random download starts. The last two were snapea something and mobogarden. I have no idea what they are as I cancel the downloads.

And sometimes the app store automatically opens.

Once I also got rerouted to some site giving info about some apps, don't remeber the name now.

Never had this issue before but this jas been happening for the last couple of weeks.

Siggy is a risk with Saints defence. Forster is a cracking keeper.

Can't see goals in the City/Chelsea match, so Costa appeal is limited.

Sterling is a good shout but many [including myself] were burnt by his non-starting berth.

I have grown dissillusioned with Dzeko and looking to transfer his out this week.

    a) Dzeko to Pelle
    b) Dzeko to Ade (and captain this week)
    C) give him one more week as City are at home (appreciate it's a tough game)

Also how do you get a picture on your profile?

Tough call, after his (Naismith) performance last week I would say yes, but for me it's a coin flick between him and Herrera, who won't get forward as much against he was allowed to against QPR on a regular basis.

Hi all, after 4 weeks of inconsistency, I'm planning on using my WC to get this team:

    Guzan/Heaton

    Duff Hutton Bartley Alderweireld Ivanovic

    ADM Sterling Siggy Rambo Cattermole

    Costa Kun Ulloa

*Could probably change Alder & Cattermole to another 5.0 & 4.5 respectively

    Thoughts?

I don't like Bartley or Cattermole (card magnet). City's (Foxes) fixtures perk up after week 6, so I'd suggest Moore and Boyd. The cash released should be useful.
