With 46 points accrued, the Icelandic international is second only to Diego Costa overall and, having started the season at just 6.0, he’s now climbed in cost to 6.8 – his rise in price of 0.8 is greater than any other player so far.
Averaging 6.6 points per appearance under Garry Monk, Sigurdsson has been snapped up by over 44% of FPL managers as he seamlessly settles back into life at the Liberty. Indeed, Sigurdsson’s Fantasy exploits have so far exceeded his displays from 2011/2, where, under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers, he served up seven goals, five assists and 11 bonus points in 18 appearances – averaging 5.7 points per match.
