    Begovic - McCarthy
    Clyne - Moreno - Chambers - Hutton - Moore
    Siggy - ADM - Fab - Sterling - Boyd
    Costa - Aguero - Welbeck

    0.5m ITB, 1 FT.

Thoughts? Considering Siggy -> Barkley. Or possibly doing something about Begovic/Moreno. Could hold the FT as well too.

Any Everton fans around here or someone who watched Everton play? Was curious if their defense has improved by a notch in last couple of matches or not.

    Unbiased predictions?

Spurs 1 (Capoue) vs Newcastle 2 (Tiote, Sissoko)

Man United 2 (Di Maria brace) vs Chelsea 3 (Costa hat-trick)

Burnley 0 vs Everton 2 (Baines brace)

The daylight savings change here a few weeks ago already pushed the 4pm kickoff over the edge (1:30am then, 2:30am now). 12:30 was just bearable if the game was decent.

Someone, anyone, please talk me out of pulling the trigger on these most boring pair of free transfers:

    Krul & Foster -> Guzan & Given

Not feeling any inspiration from the weekend and don't want to be too knee jerky. Long term plan is to get both those gks to free up funds (0.4m just).

    Rest of team:

    Clyne / PvA / Jags / Duff / Wisdom
    AdM/ Fabs / Sterling / Siggy / Boyd
    Aguero / Costa / Welbeck

Obviously looking to ditch PvA but anyone i look at bringing in either has a very similar fixture to him next week or I cannot afford. 0.1m ITB.

Don't want to chase lost points with Sanchez as I think he will be subject to rotation pretty soon.

He sure is, but tell me where you will fit in both Ramsey and Walcott without someone taking a rest every now and again, esp during champs league weeks?

        1. Saniul
          • 11 Years
          9 years, 7 months ago

          Arteta, Ramsey
          Walcott, Cazörla/Wilshere, Sanchéz
          Welbeck

That said, I don't expect Walcott to start the next two weeks.

So do you not think he will be rested? I am not debating his quality. I started the season with him but got frustrated when Wenger dropped him, and that was before Wally was near fit.

              • 11 Years
              9 years, 7 months ago

Theres a difference in getting rested for one game out of 10, and getting dropped. Whenever Ramsey/Theo is fully fit, i assume Sanchez will slot in on the left, with Cazorla dropping out, possibly Wilshere/Ramsey centrally and Caz in the hole. That said, how often does Arsenal have a fully fit squad? My moneys on never.

Rambo hasnt gone mental for a while now tho.
He was on the verge of being sold by a good few even before he got injured.

Doesnt suit Arsenal's style/set up to play him too far up the pitch atm

Yes, I will obviously monitor ADM and Chadli tonight. I feel Chadli has some more goals in him this season.

Only downside is COC this week, though I don't expect half of my team to play. I wish I had 0.1 or 0.2 in hand.

Everyone wishes to sell Di Maria apart from the minutes he's playing.

No doubt he's a top player, and he will return in the next few....it's really about wether other options like Sanchez and Hazard can OUTSCORE him.

Sanchez was very fortunate to score 2 yesterday. If he hadn't, would he even be in this conversation?

Hazard offers nothing different to ADM, imo. Similar fixtures and form. Hazard is a captaincy option, yes. But with Aguero and Costa, do you need another?

Some people don't have Costa 🙂

And Sanchez is currently the top scoring mid mate, even without the 2 goals this week, he was on many radars last week.

sanchez is the key man for arsenal..his performance recently has been decent imo..

ADM fantastic player..just that some people prefer to take more risk than others..it could prove genius or flop badly.

Too late on the ADM wagon. He's overpriced for me now, not going to buy at that price. Just like the ones I've missed out - Cesc, Pelle, Ivano.

+100 - some people so shortsighted. If United are to do anything he will be involved. Only slight worry I have for him at the moment is the amount of niggling knocks he seems to be taking.

The man oozes class. Always looking to play the quick ball into the box. RvP of two years ago would be into double figures (in goals not fpl figures) by now!

He seems to be playing more like a false 9. I don't even remember him having clear cut chances against Hull and Sunderland, bar his goal. With Alexis, Feeooo and Ramsey, I can only see the focus and service to him decreasing.
