KPI Analysis – Forwards, Last Four Gameweeks

In our third members’ article of the week, we turn our attentions to the player Key Performance Indicator (KPI) statistics. We delve into the data once again and, focusing our attentions on the forwards, assess player form over the last four Gameweeks compared to the first seven rounds of fixtures.

For the unfamiliar, these Key Performers Indicator (KPI) tables use a series of key stats to allow our members to track a trend in player performance as a guide to their form. By tracking the frequency of certain key statistics, such as minutes per chance, and comparing them over two separate periods of time, we can ascertain patterns of improvement or decline in these areas. For those unfamiliar, we’ve rolled out a preview movie which shows just how to get the best out of the KPI tables.

    Can anyone who has watched Hull play recently share how they thought Diame looked?

    His underlying stats aren't great, but sometime a player can look more dangerous than their stats suggest (like Siggy for example), and I'm curious to know if that is the case with Diame.

      Diame is exactly like Siggy. Not great stats, but he delivers. Not sure about owning a Hull player though. They are not playing great and bad fixtures ahead

      That's a tough one. I have baines, Coleman and Clyne and Coleman > Azpi had crossed my mind but not if u have other pressing issues to deal with.
      I may be dropping Coleman for a cheapy to fund Costa in a few weeks. Not decided yet.

        Indeed. I understand that it concerns a decreased number of minutes per chance, but that's about all I understand..

        Also it seems the stats are twisted to suit an agenda.

        Pelle: Getting more chances = missing more chances = bad (E.g. Pelle)

        Well actually I think Pelle getting more chances is a good sign. He will start putting them away at some point
