Plan was always to get Haz back for the Newcastle game. Though it did kind of backfire this week, it was because I wanted to keep Siggy and Sanchez while getting Silva. So if I get Sterling as a punt, I'll still be getting Haz the next week.

my bother is a sports writer here in israel (NBA, football, oethers). he has a twitter following and he opened an FPL league for those who want. about 30 poeple from his followers took the challenge. problem is, he never did that before and is not in this forum etc. - so he asked me to manage a team for him.
i spend maybe 20 minutes each week running his team (as opposed to the hours i spend on my own team) - usually making transfers right after the gw is over not waiting - and also careless about hits.
now his team is 136th in the world. how the F did happen?? (my own team is doing very well, about 1500 OR but i spend on it so much more time and effort).
anyway, its not a question, just a fun story how gut feeling and quick decisions sometimes trump hard work...

9 years, 5 months agoUltimate transfers become available again on New Years Day. 3 transfers a week for 4 GW's. They can be rolled over for a mini wild card also. What are peoples tactics regarding these transfers.
In august I used 1 transfer early and rolled over the other 14 to use on deadline day. That tactic has served me well so far and will likely try to do similar.
