    What to do with this??

    2FT, 0.4 itb

    Myhill,
    Iva, PVA, Dawson,
    Hazard, Sanchez, Silva,
    Kane (c) Austin, Aguero

    Panti, Yoshida, Hutton (inj), Ameobi

    A: Thinking Austin -> Gomis
    B: Somthing else??

Save other FT to ship Sanchez and somebody for GW33.
Realize i run into problems with defense GW 33 with PVA and Yoshida not a cover option.

    Something else?? Any advice appreciated!

    Thoughts on this plan?

    Current squad:

    Panti
    Terry - Vert - Alder
    Sanchez - Haz - Eriksen - Mane
    Aguero - Austin - Kane

    Krul; Mahrez, Dawson, PvA
    3.7ITB + 2FT

    GW32: Austin > Remy
    GW33: Eriksen > Silva
    GW34: Vert + Mane > Moreno/Sakho + Sterling

    GW34 squad:

    Krul
    Terry - Moreno/Sakho - Alder
    Sanchez - Haz - Silva - Sterling - Mahrez
    Aguero - Remy

    Panti; Kane, Dawson, PvA

I would be inclined to keep Eriksen in GW33 with his fixture - Newcastle away. Especially given that you'll be taking a hit in GW34.
All things being equal, perhaps save the GW34 FT?

Remy ahead of an additional Chelsea MID alongside Hazard? If Costa is slated to return midway through the DGW - Does Remy become less attractive as a FWD option?

My current thinking is that Fabregas/Oscar (replacing Mane) ahead of Remy may be the way to go

I'd go with Terry, Iva and Hazard i think. Unless Costa is guaranteed to be fit for the start of GWK 34.

Would probably have Ivan/Fab/Hazard for the double, unless Mourinho confirms that Costa is 100% out. Double Chelsea def was all good and well until they started struggling against everyone

Agreed! Although I have Terry instead of Ivanovic.

The possibility of Drogba getting the nod ahead of Remy is also of concern...

It's a matter of needs must. Think it's fairly safe to assume Costa will be missing given the nature of the injury, but there is a small degree of risk in it.

What would you guys do with this team with 2FT
    Ospina
    Terry-Zouma-Bertrand
    Sanchez-Hazard-Silva-Eriksen
    Aguero-Austin-Kane

I know its early, but how would this look for a DGW team? (Assuming DGW 34 for Liverpool).

    3-5-2

    Davis
    Skrtel, Ivan, Terry
    Hazard, Silva, Coutinho, Henderson, Mane
    Aguero, Kane(Or someone else)

Problem is fixing the team after the DGW, I plan to WC to this team but will probably have to get rid of some of the Liverpool players. I don't mind sticking to a 3-5-2 formation though. But then again, Liverpool have QPR at home after the DGW.

      Schlupp - attacking threat

  11. Klopp's Kids

Benteke/Austin were really safe picks for the DGW because they're the main goalscorers for their side. If you fancy they have a chance of scoring...it's likely to be them. I'm going to be wary when picking my Liverpool attackers because of the distribution of goals and assists this year. Skrtel's goal threat and BAP potential is fantastic. May get him.

    1. Puyol Pants Up

I think Henderson is the one to pick for assists. Goal scoring is a gamble.

Luckily I'm a Liverpool supporter so I'm decent on knowing how Rodgers will lineup! He said recently in the media he wanted more goals and today he fielded an attacking lineup which did well.

Sterling. His attacking returns only diminished because he was moved to wingback. Coutinho is doing well but he looks more for the pass than the shot.

        6 goals / 8 assists / 19BPs @ 6.6m - worthwhile consideration for cheap(er) Liverpool coverage.

Henderson's been thriving this season. Doesn't have to defend for Gerrard anymore. I expect him to get higher numbers next season as being the main captain.

Agreed! Could be the go-to man for Liverpool MID coverage for the remainder of the season & a worthy consideration for a starting MID berth at the start of next season (price-dependent, of course)

That's the big decision for their double, Henderson or Coutinho.

Thinking one of them plus Moreno and Sturridge along with Ivanovic, Hazard and Remy for the best coverage of both teams if they are in 34.

                Anyone going a different route?

At the moment I plan on going with Skrtel + Henderson + Coutinho, not 100% sure on Coutinho though, I may end up switching with Sterling. Sturridge hasn't done enough for me to consider him, and I would have Skrtel over Moreno any day of the week.

Yeah, I'm not overly keen in Sturridge but over those two games I fear him hurting me the most.

Would prefer Skrtel but would need the extra funds to bring Giroud and Ramsey in for 35/36/37 so in my case it's dictated by those moves, Moreno seems to play every week or may look at Glen Johnson of he's back and nailed.

What do yous think of getting Courtois to go with Haz + Ivano or Terry. He's cheaper than both DEFs and you could play him the rest of the season with no risk of rotation. I know both DGW fixs are away, but still...Leicester

    1. Ludo

Very high risk of rotation IMO (especially once the title is wrapped up), clean sheets at the Emirates are rarer than flying pigs, and Leicester play with the attacking abandon of a team that can't defend, and are fighting for their lives.

Vardy has Chelsea during the DGW.... Its more like a single GW plus 2 points.

In your opinion who is the best DGW striker to have for GW34 (assuming that Liverpool has their DGW in 34 too)

      Vardy

Think I might have to get him, then switch to 3-5-2 for the rest of the season.

I think I may go without a DGW striker, but no doubt it has to be Remy/Costa (depending on which one is fit)

So wait on the news on when the DGW happens for Liverpool, if it happens on GW37 then go ahead with Vardy and save the WC for then, If GW34 then you can take punts

Benteke only 5g 2a going into DGW.

Vardy has 2g 10a so far.

Don't be a fool. DGWs are the perfect time to take punts.

Fair point. But Burnley away and Chelsea at home could be difficult. I won't be touching him. Going with 3 pool + 3 Chelsea instead

That's fine but LEI are fighting for their lives.

Don't laugh at people that think outside the box.

Look at what happened when people bought Phillips for the DGW... they got rewarded immensely.

Would anyone consider him in a single gameweek? Probably not, but there is a lot of upside in DGWs.

Those without wildcards. If Liverpool double is in 34 how many DGW players will you have or will you aim for?

I can get 6 (Liverpool/Chelsea) with a hit. Wouldn't be adverse to taking another hit to get 7 but I think that would be my lot, don't want to butcher my team too much without a wildcard to fix.

More importantly the Hull City website says it will be announced today.

That indicates that contingency plans have been made in advance. And that suggests GW34.

Despite when it is, I'm looking at having Haz, Ivan +1 CHE and Hendo, +1 or 2 LIV (Sterling, Sturr, Skrtel)

Possibly Vardy to make funds for Sturr.

Double game weeks are quite funny actually. I probably won't take a -8 to get a 7th player (Hull or Leicester).

But....I am now thinking that I could bottle the Remy move - get in Vardy instead. Wait on more Chelsea news and if needed I'll take a -8 to get the Liverpool/Chelsea players I need.

No? The scout tweet is based on one newspaper report subsequently quoted by 2 other papers.

The report makes it clear that while Costa might like to get back for the Arsenal game it is quite unlikely.

              http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11520671/Chelsea-news-Diego-Costa-desperate-to-recover-in-time-for-title-decider-against-Arsenal.html

I think someone just read the headline rather than the content.

The chances of Costa being back that week are slim and none.

Can get six without hits Probably Terry, Hazard, Remy, Skrtel, Henderson, Coutinho but is it worth a hit to bring in one from Lei or hull?

It could well be, double game week players are great!

I'm not convinced there's another Benteke/Austin in there but a punt on someone like Vardy or Nugent could be worthwhile.

That would mean dropping Aguero or Kane. I know it's not a popular view but I think Aguero has been unlucky and could explode at anytime and Kane is a fixture for the season so barring injuries I think it's down to the six.

I doubt it's with a hit for a defender although Robertson is the most tempting. What do you reckon?
