Maybe someone was paying closer attention than me as I was at work for most of the match 🙂

Seemed like Ramsey was further up the pitch in the first half but during the second when they were hunting a goal and Wilshere came on he dropped back.

Was that just because of Wilshere or tiredness maybe?

When Wilshere came on he went into that wide right role that Ramsey had played and Ramsey dropped deeper to where Coq had been

Disappointed with swansea, all they did was foul all game, were wasting time from early on and then just sat back all game defending.

They are safe and nothing to play for so why play like that? Lost some respect for them as a team to be honest.

Arsenal have no plan b against a side who parks the bus unfortunately. Happened against chelsea and happened again tonight. Walcott on for giroud was a joke, only reason he is playing striker is to get him to sign a new contract. He looks way off the pace. Strange tactics from wenger as he stuck with giroud for a long time earlier this season but now end of season is coming nearer and walcott might leave he is sacraficing giroud for him consistently and it doesn't work.

Swansea were tactically spot on - but Arsenal still had 5 or 6 clear cut chances that they hit straight at Fabianski. It was as much Arsenal's poor finishing as Swansea's defensive tactics that cost them the game.

Exactly somehow, barely managed to get the ball past the line from their only decent chance. It's not as if they were much threatening during the night. Luck is a factor. It's not that big of a factor in the long run but it is a factor in one match.

It's like the recent ManU - WBA. It's amazing how they managed to lose that match. In 1000 retakes they would not have lost any of the other 999 times. This was more even, but still, 100 retakes, Arsenal would have won more than half of them if the game was played like this. But the thing with the small odds is that they are going to happen once a while.

I think Swansea are showing signs of maturing as a team, after this season it's obvious they now know when to defend and there high point tally is proof of this. Fair play Swans, you don't try and out pass Arsenal!

Yeah, but they still were lucky not to lose tonight. Arsenal broke that defence many times and just missed those chances. It's not because of Swansea's defence that they did. You can give respect to Fabianski for his saves of course, but a lot of it was due to Sanchez and fellows shooting the ball straight at him.

And they produced one decent chance and scored it. These nights aren't going to be a plenty for Swansea, unfortunately.

He's 100% right though. Sanchez won't miss places like that with that rate in the long run. He did that tonight, and that's kind of tough luck. Or good luck, depending on who you are. 😀

As if Swansea are the first team ever to park the bus. He'd be better served trying to find a decent striker.

As if Arsenal had been in particular difficulties. It's funny how fast the moods change by results. Just week ago Arsenal were absolutely smashing. Now they're shite. Because they lost a match they completely dominated.

Haha +1. Plenty of teams have parked their bus at the emorates last few months. Only 2 survived. one being tje best defence in the league

Exactly. It's not as if they didn't break Swansea's defence. One stat:

shots inside the box, 14-2 for Arsenal.

Even shots on target inside the box 7-2 for Arsenal.

Let's still add that the shots on target difference was a massive 7 for Arsenal. That screams of victory.

We rode our luck tonight. Thank goodness there was enough of it.

Probably the least wasteful of the Arsenal mids - although I think Ôzil scored more BPS (although I don't know how)

Vardy + Henderson --> Cazorla + Benteke (-4) went well then. I should just not make transfers.

the pick between Ramsey and Sanchez for DGW captaincy has to be flip of the coin.

might have been awful but a busy player, which increases his chances for points in FPL

Great performance from Swansea. Such a great defensive shape and work rate. 0-0 would have been fair but Arsenal were weak with the cross to Gomis.
