Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

      I had Costa & Fab over Hazard until last night's game against Barcelona, but Hazard was superb and Costa quite average. Add Costa's hamstring problems and that was enough for me to make the switch to Haz.

    It's nice to be a member again and see the wonderful work you all do on the website. I think I speak on behalf of most, its awesome.

    Now, it took me a while to fit in the front 8 players here that I trust. Of course, it came with a price to pay in the back. If you see anything that can be downgraded in the front, appreciate strong backing as to why the player in question is not worth it. Justification will go a long way in helping.

      It always strikes me that there are people who are members but don't have a grav.

          Thanks for your response. Don't you feel it would be best to see how benteke enters and blends with the team before investment. At least with Kane, the Spurs unit Understands how he operates with them and it helps especially in cases of kind fixtures.

        Perhaps play Walcott who may play for a couple gw at very least. You can use funds trading him and your premier striker for aguero, and of course a cheaper midfielder.

    Latest draft with some heavy hitters in the midfield:

    Butland / Ruddy (rotation)
    Azpi Cedric Williams OShea Huth (rotating)
    Hazard Sterling Walcott Henderson King
    Rooney Pelle Sakho

    I guess Im worried about Pelle and Walcott. Is it worth downgrading Walcott to say Ozil and upgrade somewhere else?

    The back 7 seems decent on paper and offers rotation. They should all be nailed also.

      Defence almost identical to mine but I have a 4mil instead of O'Shea. Maybe downgrade king and then pelle > tekkers + I prefer milner to hendo.

        King (Lei) is only 4.5 so I can't downgrade him.

        Id prefer Benteke over Pelle but then Id have to swap Henderson as well as I don't want to double up.

        Would love Saints attacking cover with their great fixtures. Ahhhhhh

      I would have Ozil over Walcott and try and find funds to get Kane instead of Pelle myself.

        Bringing in Kane for Pelle would mean Id need to find another 1m after swapping Walcott>Ozil

    1st team:

    Hazard Silva Ozil Hoolahan Wanyama
    Rooney Benteke Sakho

    1.0 ITB, downgrade Ozil to Fernandinho or else at GW3, and Sakho to Deeney or else for the big KUN at the expense of Benteke at GW4

    2nd team:

    Ruddy Guzan
    Kolarov Ivanovic Huth Francis Toby
    Walcott Yaya Mane Chadli Ibe
    Rooney Costa Deeney

      Team 1, a midfield with fernandinho hoolahan and wanyama is a dire prospect!

      I prefer team 1 but would worry about Hoolahan.

      Don't buy Fernandinho, rotation risk is far too high.

            Costa doubtful with hamstring and will probably not be risked with Remy and Falcao waiting in the sheds. I think Benteke will take time to settle in at pool. Hazard, Sakho, Mane? Hard to say without seeing the rest of your team.

          Planning to change between 3-4-3 and 3-5-2 depending on fixtues of Richie, Deeney and Sakho, who all rotate well. Plan is to downgrade worst performing mid to a bandwagon cheapie to fund rooney to Aguero in GW 4. Not sure about Sterling for the start but I don't know who else to replace him with. Could downgrade him to upgrade defence or forwards?
          Any thoughts appreciated 🙂

            I like the side, would prefer Silva and Ozil over Walcott and Sterling myself though.

              I reckon Walcott will hit the ground running, explosive, fast and possible playing ST, he's got one of the best goal to game ratios in the prem. Sterling has a chance to get off to a flyer but could also be pretty average and he is the main player in the team I'm a bit unsure about. Not sure who to replace him with though.

                I just think Silva is so much better for City coverage than Sterliing, that even if Ozil is worst than Walcott, it's a worthy trade.

                  I'm just thinking Sterling might take a lot of Silva points this year, could be massively wrong and he could improve Silva points output. I only need to raise 0.5 more to go straight swap Sterling to Silva

            I'd be tempted to just have the 2 players rotating, namely Ritchie and Sakho. Then I'd probably downgrade Ivanovic or Sterling (tricky first 3) and upgrade Deeney.

              Yeah that could be a good option, can't see a forward I'd want to get over Deeney, besides Kane and maybe Pelle or Jrod, but I don't see them worth the money at the moment.

            Very solid, unsure about Costa though, downgrading him to say Kane, Pelle or Sakho could give you a lot of money to massively bulk up the rest of the team
