I'll be doing this with friends over the Euros, predictions game. Great fun. Did it for World Cup 2014.

    http://officetemplate.net/euro-2016-schedule-scoresheet-and-pool-templates.html

Allows for 15 players (I think you can pay for an upgraded template). Send participants the 'Euro 16 Scoresheet and Schedule' template and get them to fill in their predictions for the group stages. You download the Office pool template and enter the players names and their predictions. Once the games are complete you just tap in the correct scores. I send out updates with a copy paste of the leaderboard by email after each round. Of course you need to collect predictions from participants for each round of knockouts once they start too.

There was some discussion that the scores for predicting right in the knockouts were too heavily weighted compared to the group stages.

My second COMPLETE season and it isn't a bad one. ML's smashed and smashed my target for a Top100k finish.

      Depends on price, I guess.

I really like Rashford who I think should be a first team starter next season.

He or Martial if Utd become a more attacking force under Mourinho.

I lost my h2h final for the second time in a row. 🙁
    I'm thinking I'm related to Wenger....haha

Last season was a clear difference in final. It's was ok for me.
But yesterday Smalling's own goal cost me h2h victory (De Gea & Smalling owner). I feel disappointed.

My OR is 32k. This is little a bit better than last season (35k). Target was top 10k.
Next season I have to do my homework better.

I won my mini league by 9 points, never had a lead of more than 50 points, at one point was 100 points behind.

In the mid twenties there was four weeks where i had nearly 20 points on the bench.

Too many transfers in the final four weeks often for players who would get rotated or injured by the following gameweek meant i missed out on my personal target of 2,000 points by 17.

Goal for next year is to keep the wildcard back for the double gameweek and minorly make changes between say 20 and 34.

That probably would have been enough this season to cross over 2,000 points as my 148 came at the cost of a -32.

Well done on winning, doesn't matter how you do it! 🙂

I've won my minileague for the last six years. Got off to a horrendous start this year, was third bottom after the first few weeks. Slowly clawed my way up the table. Wasn't top at any point till last week. Won it by eighteen points.

Final position 1,284 which is my bet ever, but strangely diappointing as I feel I should easily have finished in the top 1k ...... A poor WC in GW33 largely to blame ....

Both late wildcards for DGW's were duds. Excellent OR though.

It's tough to just miss out on breaking the top 1k but your final rank is still darned impressive.

Similar Wk33 for myself, but we knew we were setting up for the next one. Still a great OR (probably not too many points off 1k really). Would you have taken it at the beginning of the season?

Final OR this season 436,188....I am disappointed but I was hovering in the 1m rank range till GW28, so not bad from that perspective!

Quite similar to you where I am a little disappointed but made up a lot of ground late on. Ended up 248k but had a decent run from week 27 where I was at 861k.

So, we're the new chips good or bad? I think they helped me, but I do wonder if it just increases the 'luck' factor of selecting it at a specific time.

Im concerned it just an extension of the 'captain' option - how many casual players can have fairly average teams but still rise high due to a good captain choice? Is it luck or a well determined selection (had this conversation many times down the pub)

We all get the same chips and captain choices, so it's a level playing field, but it would be interesting to see what the points would be without any of them (you can't get double goals for a selected player in the real game after all)

It would be nice if the chips were better related to the real game. Ironically in that sense AOA, which is a rubbish chip in reality, is a good one - a team might well go gung-ho with attackers. The TC and BB worked well and I'd expect them to replace AOA or even add another chip or two. This is not a universally popular view - many FPL players want all the chips scrapped.

I think the game was very far removed from reality even before chips were added. We can have a team of 3 full backs, 4 wingers and 3 strikers.

This very true of course ...... but I suppose it's all fantasy really! 🙂
