Injuries

The Treatment Table – Gameweek 13

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is ruled out until January, while Roberto Firmino’s calf problem keeps him sidelined for the EFL Cup to leave Jurgen Klopp and Fantasy managers dangling. Elsewhere, Olivier Giroud is also an early doubt for Arsenal’s weekend trip to West Ham and Raheem Sterling takes a knock ahead of Manchester City’s meeting with Chelsea. Here’s a review of the latest scrapes to arrive on the Premier League treatment tables.

Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge

Liverpool were dealt a severe blow when Philippe Coutinho was stretchered off during the first-half of Saturday’s 2-0 win over Sunderland due to an ankle injury. As reported earlier this evening, Coutinho has now been confirmed as ruled out for a period of weeks with the club indicating that he will be absent until the New Year.

With an FA Cup tie to follow in the first week of January, we can expect the encounter with Manchester United in Gameweek 21 to be a target date for the Brazilian.

Coutinho has already suffered two price drops this week, having been transferred out by over 400,000 FPL bosses, seeing his price drop to 8.6. Previously the most popular player in FPL, the exodus looks set to continue at pace over the next few weeks.

Coutinho’s team-mate Roberto Firmino also picked up an issue against the Black Cats, with the midfielder suffering a kick to the calf.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s EFL Cup tie against Leeds United, Jurgen Klopp was hopeful that Firmino would be “okay,” although he sits out tonight’s match as the club look to wait for a full diagnosis:

“I know yesterday it was still painful, so that’s something we have to wait for – how he feels today. It’s another day for us. I think it will be OK but I’m not sure at the moment.”

Firmino’s status will need to be checked later in the week, then, but he appears at this point to have a good chance of being fit to face Bournemouth on Sunday.

Sturridge was ruled out of the Sunderland match due to a calf injury, and wasn’t able to take part in training on Monday.

The England international appears to be more of an injury concern ahead of Gameweek 14, then, with Divock Origi set to earn the opportunity to claim a starting spot for Sunday’s trip to the Vitality Stadium after he netted his first league goal of the season in Saturday’s 2-0 win. Origi starts against Leeds United tonight.

Olivier Giroud, Mathieu Debuchy, Hector Bellerin

The French striker suffered a minor groin problem during the final few seconds of Sunday’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth, and has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s EFL Cup clash against Southampton.

Speaking after Sunday’s match, Wenger initially stated:

“In the first moment, he told me that he felt a twitch in the back of his hamstring and we will see. I hope it’s not too bad because he told me after that when he sprinted he didn’t feel anything.”

Despite emerging from the bench to claim an assist, Giroud seems destined for a sub role at best this weekend – he has yet to start a single Premier League match for the Gunners in 2016/17.

Wenger will have forward Lucas Perez available to face Saints, though, with the Spaniard having recovered from an ankle injury.

Handed his first Premier League start of the season against Bournemouth, Debuchy’s afternoon only lasted 16 minutes before being forced off due to a hamstring injury.

The defender is due to have an MRI scan later today, but looks set to be ruled out for a number of weeks.

Gabriel replaced the French defender at right-back on Sunday, and it looks a clear choice between the Brazilian and Carl Jenkinson, who made way for Debuchy against the Cherries, for the starting spot at right-back over the next few weeks.

There was more positive news regarding Hector Bellerin though, with the Spaniard in line to return from an ankle injury ahead of the busy festive period:

“It’s going really good. Better than I expected. It is a hard injury to recover from and a bit painful. But I am going to try to be running from this week and hopefully I’ll be back on the pitch in less than four weeks.”

A return to action in four weeks’ time would coincide with a superb run of fixtures for the Gunners from Boxing Day onwards that would bring the Spaniard back onto our radars.

Arsenal host West Brom, Palace, Burnley and Watford over that period, with trips to Bournemouth and Swansea City also pencilled in.

Raheem Sterling

The Man City midfielder was substituted during the 57th minute of Saturday’s 2-1 win at Burnley after being on the receiving end of a robust challenge from Clarets defender Ben Mee.

City are yet to release any official comment on the winger’s status, but it isn’t thought that Sterling suffered any serious damage.

Pep Guardiola’s side host leaders Chelsea on Saturday, so the City boss will no doubt be desperate to have the winger available for the early kick-off.

After peaking in price at 8.6, Sterling has now fallen below his starting price of 8.0, sitting at 7.9 after failing to produce any points since Gameweek 6. With Pep Guardiola’s rotation policy seeing Kevin De Bruyne benched at Burnley, Sergio Aguero appears to be the only City attacker worthy of attention currently.

Charlie Daniels

The Bournemouth defender missed Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal due to a hip flexor problem picked up during the Cherries 1-0 win over Stoke City in Gameweek 12.

Daniels’ status remains uncertain heading into Sunday’s home clash against Liverpool, so Cherries boss Eddie Howe will hopefully provide an update on his condition during his pre-match press conference.

Brad Smith deputised at left-back against Arsenal and would be in line to start against his former club this weekend if Daniels is ruled out once again.

Intriguingly, Howe utilised Adam Smith on the right wing at the Emirates – the right-back has already racked up a goal and a pair of assists and is clearly one to monitor if he continues to be stationed in midfield as an out of position prospect. That could be unlikely given that Jack Wilshere is due to return to the squad for Gameweek 14 having been ineligible to face parent club Arsenal.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Tom Heaton, Dean Marney

Gudmundsson and Marney were forced off during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Man City due to hamstring injuries, while Heaton was ruled out after picking up a calf problem during training last week.

Speaking about Heaton, Dyche’s comment suggests his calf issue isn’t too serious:

“Tom got a calf injury and couldn’t make it today.”

Heaton’s 14.9% ownership in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) will certainly hope the goalkeeper will be available to return in place of Paul Robinson this weekend, with the Clarets travelling to the bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke City.

Any length of absence would be a bitter blow for FPL owners, given that Heaton sits second in the keeper standings. At 4.0, Robinson could become a cheaper enabler if handed a run of starts should Heaton be ruled out for a number of weeks.

As for Gudmundsson and Marney, no official comment has been made regarding their injuries, although hamstring issues are rarely healed over the course of a week, making them serious doubts for Saturday’s match.

Scott Arfield certainly appears likely to earn a recall in midfield, then, while Dyche may consider starting with two forwards, with Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray options to partner Sam Vokes in attack.

Connor Wickham

The Crystal Palace forward had to be stretchered off after suffering a knee injury in Saturday’s 5-4 defeat to Swansea City, with the club today confirming that he’ll have to undergo surgery.

Wickham suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and while Palace didn’t get any timeframe for his return, it’s likely he’ll be ruled out for several months.

Alan Pardew started with Wickham alongside Christian Benteke in a 4-4-2 at the Liberty but Palace now look set to revert to a 4-2-3-1, with the big Belgian looking to build on Saturday’s goal and assist.

James McCarthy

The Everton midfielder missed Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Southampton after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem.

But speaking after the match, Ronald Koeman stated the Republic of Ireland international was left out as a precaution more than anything else:

“He was tired and had a little problem in his hamstring again. He did not train Tuesday or Wednesday. He started training on Friday again, and I didn’t take the risk of putting him in the team because we need everybody fit and available for the busy time coming up.”

McCarthy appears to have a good chance of being able to face Man United on Sunday then, and given Everton’s abject performance at St Mary’s, he could potentially come straight back into the starting XI, having started in the 1-1draw against Swansea City.

Ryan Mason

The Hull City midfielder was forced off at half-time during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion due to illness.

Tigers boss Mike Phelan confirmed yesterday that Mason won’t feature in tonight’s EFL Cup tie against Newcastle United, but with Hull travelling to Middlesbrough on Monday night, he may have enough time to fully recover to retain his starting spot.

Sofiane Boufal, Steven Davis

Earlier today, Southampton boss Claude Puel revealed that Sofiane Boufal and Steven Davis have been passed fit in time for tomorrow’s EFL Cup encounter against Arsenal

With Dusan Tadic still sidelined due to a broken nose, Boufal has the chance to play his way into consideration as a mid-price midfield option ahead of some fine fixtures.

At present, our focus remains on Charlie Austin as the Saints’ likeliest source of attacking returns, with the forward climbing to sixth in the forward standing after firing a weekend winner against Everton.

Ryan Shawcross

The Stoke City skipper was left out of the squad for Sunday’s 1-0 win at Watford as a precaution after suffering a calf problem during the final training session before the match.

The injury doesn’t appear to be a serious one, then, but given that Mark Hughes’ side claimed an impressive win at Vicarage Road, and kept a clean sheet in the process, there could be a temptation not to rush Shawcross back for Saturday’s home clash against Burnley.

Marc Muniesa deputised for the Potters on the weekend, and the Spanish defender may start in central defence once more.

Lynden Gooch

The Sunderland midfielder was stretchered off with an ankle injury during the club’s U23s match against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.

The USA international will be assessed later this week, but he looks to have little chance of being available for Saturday’s home encounter with Leicester City, and could face an extended spell on the sidelines.

Borja Baston

The Spaniard was left out of the matchday squad for Saturday’s 5-4 victory over Crystal Palace due to a knock.

Borja remains a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur, and in any case appears to be the third choice to lead the line for the Welsh outfit, with Gylfi Sigurdsson excelling in the “false nine” role, while Fernando Llorente is pushing for a starting berth following his brace and assist at the weekend.

Jose Holebas, Younes Kaboul

Both players were forced off with injuries during Watford’s 1-0 home defeat to Stoke City, with Kaboul aggravating an existing calf problem, while Holebas was forced off with a knock.

Of the two, it’s Kaboul whose injury appears the more serious, given he was a doubt coming into the match due to a calf injury.

Walter Mazzarri will already be without the suspended Miguel Britos for Saturday trip to the Hawthorns, so he’ll be desperate to have Kaboul available to face the Baggies, given that Craig Cathcart also looks set to remain sidelined.

Holebas was on a yellow card when he was replaced on Sunday, and with his injury not thought to be as a serious, he may have more of a chance of being passed fit.

The veteran remains in 8% of FPL squads on the back of two goals and an assist and has some decent fixtures to follow, with West Brom, Sunderland and Palace in the next five.

Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll

Speaking ahead of Wednesday night’s EFL Cup clash against Man United, West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic revealed that Diafra Sakho suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

“Diafra picked up a hamstring injury and we are waiting to see how bad the injury is. He will definitely not be available for the game on Wednesday. We will have to wait for the results of the scan to see how many weeks we will be without him.”

There’s better news on that fitness of Andy Carroll, though, with the striker perhaps being able to feature tomorrow night, and definitely in line to be available to face Arsenal on Saturday:

“We are going to see what happens today. Andy has a good recovery and has been training with us. If he progresses well and there are not any minor setbacks, he will definitely be ready for Saturday, and we will make a decision about the United game after training… With Andy we take it on a daily basis.”

After a stint on the sidelines, Sakho had started the last two matches and found the net at Old Trafford. Taking Carroll’s injury history into consideration, the big Geordie is perhaps more likely to be used as a sub this weekend as Bilic eases him back into contention.

This could persuade the Hammers boss to turn to Michail Antonio or Andre Ayew up front – both have already led the line in previous league matches this season.

Antonio has a goal and assist in his last two now, and we have one eye on his form ahead of some favourable fixtures from Gameweek 16 onwards. The midfielder is one booking short of a single-match ban, though.

Anyone has any idea as to when Geoff Cameron is expected to Back? And is he nailed on? Also co when is Friend expected to be back?

Cameron was only meant to miss one match... So don't have a clue as to when he actually will be back.
Whelan and Cameron together were solid, but since then they've both picked up injuries and probably will have to fight to regain their place.

Reading the Stoke forums they aren't optimistic and think Whelan is closer. He (Cam) has been preferred at CM when fit and I'd expect that to continue despite the good showing by Imbula/Adam @WAT.
Friend was '3 or 4 weeks' so not great.

As a Costa owner I'm enjoying how he reacts to provocation/fouls at the moment. For a nanosecond it looks like he will tear the arms and legs off the offender and then do the same to the ref. Then he becomes Mr Calm and wanders serenely back to his position.

What's wrong with this awful WC team besides no Kun?

    Heaton - Randolph
    Alonso - Rose - Cedric - Janmaat - Nyom
    Eriksen - Hazard - Siggy - Walcott - Fer/Phillips
    Austin - Costa - Kane (c)

    0.3 left

Also not sure on Eriksen or my fifth mid yet

I know you say you have a plan with Sanchez, but I would get in now 🙂 Eriksen + Walcott -> Sanchez + cheapish mid who rotates well with 5th mid. Fer/Phillips/Snoddy/Can/Matic etc.

Just really prefer Sanchez over Theo, as he is a rotation risk and his stats aren't good atm. If you can find two nailed cheapish mids, who rotate well over the next month or so, I would go with that options personally.

I think it's just his early season form that's got him dropped.

As for bringing him in now, WHM have got 2 very tough fixtures against Arsenal and Liverpool. By the time the easy fixtures come back around, Adrian might be back in net.

Interesting. I'm not considering bringing him in by any means I was just wondering what was going on there.

I'm from Ireland so have seen a bit of Randolph in the last year or so and I've never really seen him make a mistake. Hopefully he keeps his place!

Im pretty sure his amazing game for Ireland against Austria is what prompted Bilic to start him

Pickford would be next in line to replace him

        Reason for the Randolph pick
West Ham rotate perfectly with Burnley and wanted to have Randolph for GW16/17 (BUR,HUL)
Most importantly, his performance for Ireland against Austria got my attention as well as the game against United
Seems nailed for the time being, but didn't know about Bilic was looking for a new keeper in January
Do you have a source for that info, may have to reconsider?

Still a marked transfer on a 4thish defender who you don't ideally ever want to spend one on. Plenty of other fish in that sea who are nailed and rotatable.

I think more like 6ish depending on when players get down to train before opening set of games but not sure. Still wouldn't want to earmark a transfer on 4th defender at any cost - but more than one way to play the game.

Nyom's 7th GW from now is on the 2nd of January. Cameroon have their first game on the 14th. I doubt he will leave before the 3rd of January.

You are probably right. You can get let's say Evans for 0.2 more and you can keep him for that tasty run of fixtures GW 20-27 (minus 21 against Spurs).

Brought Nyom in without realizing he plays AFCON at the time. Needed a 4.3m defender to get Kane in for a free. Think he'll serve me better than Fuchs for 2 fixtures at least. I can just bench him or whatever after that.

I think the eruption could come in gw18 for the Bournemouth fixture when he will be a favorite for the armband and even a % of managers will have him x3 captain

1st a yellow card and then a straight red all before the 60 minute mark

It's a misconception that Costa is a loose cannon. He's never been sent off in the Premiership and last time he previously went 11 games without getting a yellow.

It's not coincidence he was getting booked every other game up until he hit 4 yellows this season. It's controlled aggression. He pushes things as far as are allowed but always keeps it within limits. He's an incredible player.

      1. Licious Lizard
        • 11 Years

But he sure as hell should have... He should have gotten at least one red card in the beginning of the season - perhaps two. Only escaped because of a clear refereeing error.

That being said, I think we have all been stupid holding off on buying him because of his potential one game suspension...

Haha you're right about both of those. It's an odd one cause I know he'll get points every week but I cannot get him in, and I'm not too fussed about it at the moment.

Got Kane in this week and will hold him for these four games then most likely it will be Costa time. Will monitor Zlatan over those four games too

There's only one clip of Costa since he's joined Chelsea in that video and I think it was fair enough he was angry as someone jumped in two feet, studs up in a friendly game.

Obviously he has a history of being a bit of a rogue and I'm not saying he's an angel - after watching a video of him trying to bite Pepe's finger it would be hard to haha!

But even in a lot of that video, and certainly in the premier league, you can see that when he pushes it he often results in bringing the worst out in others which is his goal. I think today's Costa is a very clever and controlled player

He's probably a decent punt for the next four game window but there is so much choice in and around his price bracket I am not too surprised he's not picking up much steam as a transfer target. 1 goal and 3 assists through 13 is insanely bad so that surely is not helping his cause either.

Yep. He goes on these little runs quietly amassing points.

If Kane starts scoring more during these nice fixtures, as many here are predicting, that is likely to mean more assists and Eriksen is a good candidate to help in that regard.

Agreed there should be multiple goals in those games

The gamble comes at a cost of Firmino who is very highly owned so it could backfire

I don't mind taking risks, i think you have to play aggressive to get ahead in this game so I might do it

Still got a couple days to ponder, hoping that Klopp presser will give me some insight on Firmino's status

That is a risk for sure. Personally I finally feel like I am getting a handle on this season and that's in part because I've started picking players for the future not the past. Fermino I'd class as the present.

By the time an Eriksen run has come on people's radars it's often coming to an end, but they can be profitable if you get on them early.

Eriksen scored 178 points last season, when a lot of people overlooked him for much of the year, and 162 the season before. Those are decent numbers.

It might be a case of using one's eyes for this one.

Eriksen has not played well this season. I've seen him in plenty of games, and he has been well below the standards of the past two years. It is hard to account for that, and perhaps the lack of Lamela causes issues for him, but he is one of the reasons Spurs have been stuttering. I've brought him in as a one week punt for Coutinho, as I have two full times and he seemed the best of my options, and then I'm planning to shift him for Sigurdsson unless he produces this weekend. Swansea at home is the perfect fixture in which to do it, and he is streaky. But past points mean nothing when this season's performances have been so below the previous two years.

Thanks for the contribution. It's good to get the perspective of someone who watches him regularly.

From a stats perspective, which is what I have to rely on, his underlying numbers suggest he hasn't been as bad as his top line numbers, but I'm interested to do a comparison to his numbers in previous years now.

Arsenal, Spurs and Man City players will be most at risk of rotation as Wenger, Poch and Guardiola like to shuffle the pack.

How does everyone here utilise the All Out Attack chip?

Personally the only way I can see myself using it is due to injuries. Or in the unlikely event that 3 of my defenders have terrible fixtures and all my midfielders have great ones.

General consensus is it's fairly useless, I feel like people just use it because it's there.

That's the ideal scenario isn't it. Problem is my 5th mid is now de Roon (downgraded from Capoue a couple of weeks back to pocket the difference) and I think there's always more chance of an unexpected clean sheet than him scoring! Even this week with Boro at home to Hull.

Pieters & Nyom look a bit too short-term, have you seen their fixtures going forward? Nyom is also off to AFCON I believe. MID & WAT cheapos don't have the worst run of fixtures.

Well you probably need 8.8 for WAT/MID, you have 8.7? Pity, 4.4 MID is Chambers, not the best but he's okay.

    Heaton / Pickford
    Kos Lovren Holebas Pieters Amat
    Haz Firm Wally Siggy Fletch
    Kun Kane Austin

Question here for this team (I know it's pretty template, there are many similar!)

    A) Keep a premium defender (A1 keep Kos or A2 switch to Alonso)
    B) Upgrade to two premium defenders (would need anohter 0.2 to do Lovren > Alonso)
    C) Sell the premium defender Kos for Cedric, then just 2FT away from doing Wally > Sanchez for amazing Arsenal fixtures (involving Siggy > 6.2 or less)

A2 I think, they seem to have a bit more about them defensively and he does get forward a lot so always an assist/goal opportunity. Expensive but another good run and he'll be miles clear.

The thing is the clean sheets in previous seasons are so full of chances that the opposition has somehow contrived to not score. Slightly unfortunate this season that they are conceding one goal per match, but historically, those openings and chances presented have always been there. There is a massive massive difference in Chelsea keeping a cleanie vs Arsenal keeping a cleanie. But I'm being overly cynical. I just don't bother with the defense. I even resisted buying Koscielny on my wildcard.

The food chain of good full-backs probably falls into 3 categories.

          i) Alonso, Walker, Bellerin
          ii) Clyne, Rose, Valencia
          iii) Cedric, Holebas, ASmith

I know Cedric is all the rage atm but I'd still say you get what you pay for, give or take. I'd certainly have 1 from the top group.

C out of those, as I think Sanchez is by far the better choice compared to Wally.

Another route - if you are willing to go without Firm - could be Firm + Wally --> Sanchez and a cheapish 4th mid like Zaha/Fer/Phillips/Matic/Can/Snoddy etc. It seems like you have something ITB, which could be spent on upgrading Fletcher to a better 5th mid, who rotates well with your 4th mid. This way you can have Sanchez, Hazard and Siggy, whom you can all play each week and a 4th and 5th mid, who you can rotate depending on fixtures.

      1. bigbudgie
        • 9 Years
        7 years, 6 months ago

great insight, thanks. Yes I have 1m ITB. I have to admit I've never been one for rotating, especially midfielders. I did look at losing Firmino too. But I have a man crush on his footballing abilities. That would be tough. Firmino > Sanchez leaves 6.1 for a mid to replace Wally and a premium defender in tact.

        1. Licious Lizard
          • 11 Years
          7 years, 6 months ago

Yeah that is what I would go for then. Still a lot of good cheapish 4th mid options in my opinion.

No doubt Firmino is a brilliant footballer. I just have the feeling that his attacking threat will be limited a bit with Coutinho out and probably Origi/Sturridge playing up top. Klopp might even focus a bit more on attack under the circumstances.

It will be worth it to keep Siggy and a premium def + get Sanchez over Theo.

At least an option to consider 🙂

Yep, also does no harm for team structure, having Sanchez + Haz + Siggy + Cheap 4th + bench fodder 5th. It's about right. Easy to jump back on Cout or Firm.

Also I do have a feeling that it's time to keep a close eye on Liverpool's attacking output, might be a way to be ahead of the curve by jumping off at the right time. Fixtures become very mixed in the not too distant future

Yes I think it definitely sounds like the right solution.

And I agree in terms of fixtures. People are still continuing to talk about "amazing fixtures", as they haven't realized that a big chunk of the good run Liverpool had has already passed.
The Pool mids have been great value until now, but I think that will change.

When Cout got injured, I at least took it as a chance to be differential and try gambling on other mids performing better than the Pool mids, including Sanchez, Hazard and Siggy...

As I wrote to BB above, I would suggest working towards a midfield core of Sanchez, Hazard and Siggy.

My gut feeling tells me that going without a Pool mid could really pay off as a differential move.

Mane + Ozil + Capoue -> Sanchez + Siggy + ?5.1-5.7 (depending on your SV).

That would give you an amazing core of attacking front 6 of
      Sanchez, Hazard, Siggy
      Kun, Kane, Austin
Who can all be played each week for the foreseeable future + a decent cheapish mid ie. Fer/Can/Matic/Phillips/Zaha/Snoddy etc.

        • 11 Years

I've got Gündogan at the moment and will probably have to keep him for a bit as my priority now is to get Southampton, Spurs and Chelsea coverage in defence for this fixture swing and refuse to hit to take him out, taken hits in the last 8 weeks and I need to draw a line under it.

I actually think he'll start getting games now that the CL can be put on the backburner for a bit but I'm looking at Zaha, Moses or going back to Snodgrass/Allen when I eventually get to him.

Agree with your tactic, going to hop on various 4th mids like you would various 3rd strikers depending on form/fixtures.

            1. Licious Lizard
              • 11 Years

Can understand why you are not in a rush if he starts getting some games. Would be a surprise if Pep only brought him in to play CL, so I expect him to play more as well based on his performances.

Mine are Snoddy/Allen at the moment. Perhaps looking to ship out Allen after Burnley and getting in Cedric after Palace.

Have triple WBA in defense, so I at least need to ship one after Watford.

It is going to be a lot of fun to see if the tactic works 🙂

Luckily he's either been playing or not even on the bench so getting rid is not an emergency, can take the price falls on the chin as I have Sanchez, Hazard, Kane and Aguero locked in and those are the key men going forward IMO.

Just have minor tweeks to do in the next few weeks as the attacking core is set.

I really regret selling Allen before Gündogan though, had to lose one and went for the flag, that was a mistake.

It has been nice for you to have Gundo either having a full match or nothing at all.

I completely agree on those 4.

I have some medium tweets to do. Need to fix that defense, but other than that it is only 4th/5th mids to play with.

I am thinking about selling Allen. Tough fixtures coming up...

Yeah, probably worth selling Allen after this week.

Don't think it would be the worst plan in the world to land on Fer even with Siggy, they have the fixtures to support it and he's cheap enough to not be relied on so badly.

Yeah Fer could be a decent shout with those fixtures. Still undecided whether I should downgrade 5th mid to a complete cheapie and pour funds in defense, but I'll re-assess after this GW.
