Granville is waylaid by “homework” and misses out, but Luke crashes in mid-cast to join Jonty, Andy and myself as we deliver an 80-minute episode, which includes our dubious insights on navigating a team to mini-league glory – mind games and all.

Once again guided by your community questions, we take on the Diego Costa fall-out, the rising stock of Spurs on form and Everton on fixtures, while finding time to wade in on the demise of former darling Sergio Aguero under the stewardship of Pep Guardiola.

      Ake to friend or fabio. Bother cheaper. Fabio missed through early part of the season and if you double his points for the games he has missed (10) he has as many pts as Gibson.

      Am I the only one who is wary of Liverpool schedule. Coutinho will need time, a few games at least. I could be wrong

    Totally inconclusive on Evans. I have Barrnaagin (injured) & Amaat (likely out of favour) to come in if he doesn't play.

    Should i like to move on Barragan for Friend / Chambers so that i don't run the risk of playing with 2 defenders or chance it so i have 2FT's next week?

          I was looking at Rondon for Anichebe. Not sure if he is good pick or not... Havent taken enough shots but with fixtures looking good, he might do well considering his record against bottom half teams.

            😉 The issue is with TP football mentality.
            He tends to play defensive against better opponents, which affect the attacking dynamics.
            While against lower half teams, they play their open game.

            But I personally rate Rondon.. maybe higher than the likes of Tekkers, Origi, Defoe, etc.

      Better try the free transfer with Rondon (he scored a hat trick recently)... West brom will surely score, and even if Carroll play, it will be really hard for west ham to score vs Boro..

          Yes double West brom might be too much, then change a defender on the bench to Yoshida, and play with 4 defenders.. best value (4.2).. some clean sheets coming up with their fixtures.. Or if you have the money : Van Dijk

      How I would like this team. I would stick with your 352 formation. Much more choice chopping and changing.

      I suggest Hazard to Erikson & Kane to Lukaku/Aguero next week. You may have the funds. You still have your spurs cover. Lukaku or Aguero in place of Hazard and plenty room for development...

    Anyone reconsidering James Collins as a fifth defender? I feel like after this week he's gone up one in the pecking order. (Above Ogbonna), at 4.2m he'd be a decent option and would definitely play when we play 5-4-1 anyways, at least until Kouyate is back who I hope to god is used in midfield. He's back on my radar as an option.

      with the uncertainty over costa's situation, I would probably go for Kane for free, but not for a hit. You might as well wait 1 or 2 gameweeks. depends also if you have eriksen/alli.
