Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs Spurs

Saturday’s action concludes at Anfield with Liverpool attempting to halt a wretched run in 2017 with victory over fellow title hopefuls Spurs.

From a Fantasy perspective, our focus will mainly be with the visitors, with Dele Alli and Kyle Walker boasting 27.2% and 36.2% ownership respectively. Harry Kane (19%) and Christian Eriksen (15.9%) also go into the tea-time kick-off heavily backed, despite suffering significant sales: Kane was shown the exit by more than 127,000, second only to Liverpool’s Adam Lallana ahead of Gameweek 25.

Jurgen Klopp’s assets have slumped, both in terms of output and popularity with Philippe Coutinho (17.4%) and Lallana (16%) still the top owned on show. The latter is without a goal or an assist in his last five Gameweeks.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Surely someone has to be answerable for this brunt/McCauley situation, it's ridiculous, and makes a complete mockery of the game. Maybe I should start my own fpl and just completely disallow everyone else's points apart from players in my team, seems like that's the rule on here.

    C) Ibra & Alli/Eriksen ➡ Costa & Mane (Bench Sanchez & start Mee/Chambers)

    Leaning towards A as Spurs could shift 3-4-2-1 soon, Vertonghen is back in light training and Poch knows that was working better.

        That hurt as well. I've been trying to lift my crappy rank by going with other captains in hopes of Sanchez flopping around. My plan was sound, as he has been off form, but then enter all the nonsense.........

    I'm happy with the Evans 3 pointer. 6 would have been even better (duh), but with Mirallas in my team and both Sanchez and Ibra I got more pressing matters and things to worry about than this.

    I feel I've been lucky picking captains for the past 5GW - win some, lose some.

    I used to think owning lowly owned players is good in FPL as you get points others don't. Today though, the highly owned Mcauley was given a goal and taking points from lower owned Brunt/Evans. So, is it actually the case that where they can get away with it, FPL give points to higher owned players? Only reason for doing this though would be to ensure more players be happy with the extra ghost points.

    So, might make sense in future not to go for differentials, higher owned players are more likely to be gifted points.

    Still not convinced that Hazard is worth the price and before that goal vs Arsenal that was the general consensus.

    Actually even FPL and Brunt aside in any normal football match there's no way anyone would take the goal off Evans. BBC, Sky or whoever, if that was Ibra, Sanchez or even Shearer in his day there's no way they'd accept that decision. And I think the powers that be wouldn't go there anyway..... Shocking.... in my opinion!

    Why is everyone doing Sanchez to hazard when both have blanks??

    I have Sanchez and Ibra blanking next week. Paid 11.2 currently he's 11.8 how much will he fall between now and say week 29?
