Two Gameweeks down and already the dilemmas are building; the siren song of the Wildcard button is calling.

Failing big hitters are the major bone of contention as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me for the second ScoutCast of the season.

We give our verdicts on Spurs talisman Harry Kane, while also assessing the fall-out from Manchester City and, in particular, the shot-shy Kevin De Bruyne.

Driven by another round of community questions, we also chew over The Pogba vs Mkhitaryan debate and the big Bournemouth bail out, before previewing Gameweek 3.

Oh, and after his ten point return on the Aaron Mooy investment, we wrestle to prevent Jonty dropping his name into the conversation at every opportunity. I think I counted two. That’s a win for everyone involved.

        If you've been patient with him up until now then I think you should give him another week. There's every chance he'll be the designated penalty taker and I think Bournmouth will have greater goal threat the WHU once they get going.

          Also Chicharito is a trap and trust my words there'll be millions of managers with their head in their hands in a few weeks. Chicharito has never been a consistent goalscorer, going 2, 3, 4, 5 weeks at a time without goals. He also almost never assists and probably isn't on pens. It's a recipe for disaster

            Wouldn't surprise me, but with those fixtures he's surely worth a punt. Plan to down grade to a strong 4,4,2 or 3,5,2 if he turns out to be rotten

              Definitely worth a punt but then it turns with 3 very tough fixtures in 4. Would be just as happy or more so with vokes or gabbiadini, though with those there's the risk of a drop

      Depends on Sanchez position. His returns were great when he played as a front man last season. With Laca he may play wide and I need to see first how he will play.

      Right now Silva should play at least 60 minutes each game but they've bought other Silva for a reason and he may be rotated at some point. With such team Carroll will be on your bench so dont try to upgrade him. For value of 4.5 he will play every 90 minutes, at least for now.
      I think that it's too soon to play WC but with information we have right now I would give it a 7/10 rating.

          Baily > Jones wont allow you to KDB. My perfect WC team would look like that

          Jones - Mbemba (wont play him at the same time as Elliot) - Schindler - Yoshida - Otamendi

          As you see right now 90% of people will have different approach and its too soon to point good values or players in a good from. Mounie can be Gray from last season etc.

        Same answer on previous page; I had the exact same, but decided to downgrade Jones & Tripp to have three 4.5m defenders (and one 4m bench warmer) rotating around Alonso. Lets you upgrade Silva to Mane. Silva is a good option I think, but Mane is a beast and will get a lot more points I think. You can still get points from rotating your defenders well.
        Also too risky putting a possibly injured and soon to be replaced Trippier in on a WC.
