Dugout Discussion – West Ham vs Huddersfield

The Gameweek concludes at the London Stadium where West Ham are treated to their first home game of the campaign against Huddersfield Town.

At the start of the season, this appeared to be a fixture which would have seen us back the Hammers’ assets for returns. Three games in and the outlook is very different.

The Terriers turn up undefeated and with no goals conceded. That form has seen the likes of goalkeeper Jonas Lossl and defender Zanka pick up 8.4% and 10.4% ownership respectively. Meanwhile, playmaker Aaron Mooy is backed by 12.9% having produced a goal and an assist to this point.

But West Ham have the best-supported player on show tonight.

Chicharito is part of 1.4 million squads and is backed by 159,000+ (3.3%) with the captaincy.

Significantly, he’ll be supported by Andy Carroll in the West Ham attack, in what appears to be a 3-5-2 set-up deployed by the under pressure Slaven Bilic.

Joe Hart is the next best owned West Ham asset in action, although 71% of his 500,000 owners have chosen to bench him ahead of tonight’s clash.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

They'll most likely go back to 4231 when those attackers are back.

If you would be wildcarding, would you get some City attacking assets in your team or not? The fixtures are looking great, but I dont like the rotation risk....

Any thoughts, advice or strategy is most welcome!

Currently I'm on Mendy as my only City cover, with the team looking like this with 0.6 itb:
    Elliott (Krul)
    Bavies, Alonso, Mendy (Naughton, Gamez)
    Eriksen, Pogba, Mooy, Doucouré (TC)
    Kane, Morata, Vardy

As a current Firmino owner I'm happy to wait out over Mane injury, still think pool are an attacking side with Bobby at the spearhead and Klopp does love him so not overly concerned about rotation. Also on pens...

If Spurs get a clean sheet (very likely) then Mkhitaryan only needs a clean-sheet to cover any Alli or Eriksen assist (with bonus).
I expect Spurs will put a few past Swansea though, and you'd expect to Alli and/or Eriksen to be involved, so I'd go with your second or third option.
