“This is how the ScoutCast was meant to be” exclaimed Granville.

He’s not wrong. If you’ve successfully avoided this brand of nonsense to this point, episode 232 provides a less than gentle introduction.

Just don’t expect me to take a beating every week.

That’s certainly what pans out over this lengthy landmark episode which finds me rolling the punches after my “ill-timed” Wildcard.

Granville and Jonty take turns to dish out the blows, while Andy and Az make uncomfortable spectators.

Once the scuffle dies down, we do our best to address the latest community questions, assessing strikers, mid-price midfielders and the latest wing-backs demanding our attention.

But, for once, that forms the undercard for the “big fight”.

          Salah? If you don't have the funds, downgrade Maguire to a 4.5. Don't see Maguire keeping a lot of clean sheets and he won't be getting attacking returns all the time.

    So Silva rose but Kane didn't.

    People need to be wary when wildcards are in play. A lot of people will have wildcarded Kane in due to his high price whereas nobody is getting Silva on a wildcard and he is just a straight Pogba replacement.

    I'm not sure why people would take the risk if they were on a fine line budget wise. All this weeks matches are finished so why wait?

    so used my FT to get Ritchie for Pogba .. got 2.5 in the bank..

    a) Bring Bavies for Holgate for a hit and play 4-4-2 removing the weaklink Abraham

    b) Avoid the -4 and play 3-4-3 playing Abraham as a dead weight vs Spurs away ..

      who is you 5th mid? I wouldn't take a hit for defender unless he is Alonso or someone who is threatening to score not only assist or clean sheet.

      But maybe Bavies is different, Spurs would be 90% clean sheet and they have good fixtures. Dare to take a hit like a real man!

      Form budget midfielders are Moting, Gross & Doucoure.

      I think first two have chance to keep ticking over some returns as they are playing advanced positions.

      Moting or Gross will generally save you money over the others as well.
