Gameweek 8 concludes at the King Power Stadium with Leicester City hosting West Bromwich Albion.

The Fantasy Football community will be torn heading into this encounter, with allegiances split between the home attack and the Baggies backline.

Jamie Vardy is undoubtedly the star turn on show. Owned by 16.3% of managers, the five-goal striker was brought in by 294,000 ahead of Gameweek 8, the third most popular transfer target. He has goals in his last two in front of his own supporters, but is yet to score against West Brom at home in three attempts.

Elsewhere for the Foxes, Harry Maguire boasts an ownership of 7.4%, attracting just over 40,000 new managers prior to Saturday’s deadline. The centre-back has a goal and an assist from his three home appearances so far.

Ahmed Hegazi remains the most popular asset in the West Brom camp. Still part of 1.3 million squads, he’s been benched by 353,000 (26.9%) ahead of tonight’s clash.

Meanwhile, Ben Foster was due to be backed by an ownership of just over 800,000 but will play no part in tonight’s match having been ruled out with a knee problem. Over 347,000 of his managers named Foster in their starting XI and now turn to their reserve keeper.

      Sometimes I take I deep because there's cash on the line but if I played for fun only I honestly think I wouldn't care if I had a back week.

      Won my mini league 3 times in the last four years and twice I had a disastrous start things can change easily. And even if you have cash involved unless your mortgaged your house chill it s only a game 🙂

      Davies fixtures are awful
      The Real Madrid ones don't help either
      And Rose is an issue now
      And Jones is on 7/8 CS
      And Jones is cheaper
      And Davies gets rested for the easy home games so you miss the good fixtures

    It's halve time and this went down with a lead balloon last week with the sheeple. Will amuse more woolies here no doubt but hopefully will free the minds of some.

    People are choosing not to own Kane for many a reasoned reason.

    1/ There are three other cheaper strikers out pointing him atm with a couple breathing down his neck also. (It may continue)
    2/ Spurs have a vicious Champions campaign now kicking off with a vengeance in a squad that looks thin for such aspirations. (very thin )
    3/ The Wembley Hoodoo is showing definite signs of being a fact not a fairy tale; stat monkeys are free to punch some numbers if they feel the need.
    4/ His full strength team has already been made to look ordinary by an under strength Chelsea.
    5/ His team are showing signs of relaxing after 60 mins if they have a couple of goals against weaker teams. (Huddersfield a clear case in point).
    6/ He's just a man with two legs and arms and bits.......Yet people have capstoned him on a toadstool of past seasons when in truth better value strikers could be out there playing for better teams.

      Not sure if you re trying to convince yourself but you ve half convinced me. Problem is that I took him off my team once already and he went on to score a double. If I take him out that would be for one man only , aguero. Not sure i will though .
