Restored to a five-strong squad, this week’s ScoutCast is still resonating from the shock of Man City’s seven-slice goal pie, served up by Pep at the expense of Stoke City.

That avalanche of goals and points fell into the laps of two of the ScoutCast crew, as Jonty and Andy bask in their post-Pep Wildcard success.

Others weren’t so fortunate, as we tell the tale of an unfortunate 11-point refresh and Az’s 32-point Gameweek misery that has since sparked his own Wildcard activity.

City dominate the community questions driving this 90-minute episode, while we also revisit the Harry Kane debate, fuelled by his latest Wembley misfire.

          both are good, let's compare GK. Hart have made fewer saves than Hennesey, but Palace conceded more. I think Palace defense getting better as Speroni starts playing.
          But plays at home almost become the most decision made. Go with Atsu and good luck

          Mourinho did a post match interview where he basically confirmed Jones would start Vs Huddersfield

          Haven't seen it mentioned on here though but he's 99% going to start

          The quote was along the lines of "He has a little injury that's why he's on the bench, so if we needed him he could have come on, for the weekend no problem"

                I've got the wild card still available, probably will play it in a couple of weeks, so could easily get Eriksen back in just 3 weeks time. Could you see Sterling outscoring him over the next 3? I certainly wouldn't bet against it...

            Have him, will captain Kane instead (although i am tempted to go for a differential captain Alli/Richarlison). Watford are pretty good and Hazard hasnt scored in PL yet. Plus i prefer to have a Sunday captain when possible just to hope he ll save the week.

          Thought of saving FT and doing next week Hazard + Holgate -> Coutinho + Alonso for free. Now with Davies not sure to start i am considering using the FT now and take a hit either now or next week to fix the defence. Thoughts?

          Tough captain decision to make. Who are you going with and why?

          Kane - We know what he's capable of, Liverpool at Wembley certainly an open game, but then again the game could go either way.

          Hazard - Loves a home game, on pens, Watford on solid form though, the same can't be said of Chelsea atm.

          Sterling - Scoring goals for a free flowing City side, taken off around 70 minute mark on Tuesday, should start. Somehow it just feels wrong to slap the armband for Sterling.

          Jesus - Same as Sterling, game time more of an issue with Aguero returning.

          Few good options not addressed here; Lukaku, Aguero, Morata. Add your thoughts!

            Lukaku. No brainer. People are for some reason blinded by the last two games where Jose’s only aim was to keep it tight at the back. Back to normal tomorrow.

            I don't see why Spurs v Pool is being talked up as an open game. Pretty sure the corresponding game last year was a tight 1-1.

              For me, open game doesn't necessarily mean a high scoring game. Liverpool will play their own game, chances will come for both but I think the 'big game' feel will help defenders improving their game blocking shots etc. Could be a goal fest or an entertaining 0-0, Ars-Liv from a couple seasons back come to mind.
