The Saints have gone three matches without a shut-out and confidence in their defence has waned as a result, even with favourable fixtures remaining.
Instead, we may well be looking to Manolo Gabbiadini for points once more. The Italian struck a brace in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle in Gameweek 8 to revive his confidence. He has gained 50,000 new owners ahead of tonight’s encounter.
