Merry Christmas from Fantasy Football Scout

Christmas is all about family. About sharing. About goodwill to all men.

I do a bit of that, though my day also involves points hits, rotation concerns and whether Harry is going to blank at Wembley.

I don’t wish this on you but, deep down, I know it’s too late. You’re just as lost in this as I am.

So that only leaves me to thank you for reading this and, of course, on this special day, for all your support for what we do here at Fantasy Football Scout.

Having this link to thousands of like-minded folk, similarly happy to burn hours contemplating budget strikers, is a comfort and a massive gift in itself. So thank you.

While I urge you to rejoin your friends and family, or at least find a channel showing Die Hard or Escape to Victory, I should also remind you that our Scout Picks and Captain Sensible articles will be with you later today.

Eat well, drink relatively sensibly and enjoy the day.

            Indeed, he has 2 games to justify himself! Interestingly, he has 2 double-digit hauls away compared to 1 at home this season. Last season, he went off at home..

      Ye I was thinking about it earlier, but I could see him score big the next couple of weeks. He got 8 good fixtures in a row, and he is on penalties.

      My moves this week may be Smalling, Mariappa, Zaha -> Jones, Christensen, Atsu (-8). Atsu got good fixtures coming up, and I would bench Zaha in the next 2 anyways. Smalling injured, and Mariappa out of the starting 11. This way I could bank my FT next week and double/triple transfer for the double GW.

        Given that you already have Ota & Sterling, I think that would be a solid move as Morata is nailed-on, rested and has solid fixtures.
