Why Mark has played his FPL Wildcard for Gameweek 3

We can reveal that Mark Sutherns has played his Wildcard for Gameweek 3 of the 2018/19 Fantasy Premier League season.

Joe spoke to him in the latest episode of ScoutCast Extra Time on Friday afternoon to find out his reasons for hitting the button and making a raft of changes.

Mark explained that a lot of his decision revolved around how volatile the transfer market has been since Sergio Aguero‘s (£11.2m) hat-trick in Gameweek 2.

With managers all over the world chopping and changing Mark was faced with a situation where several of his original assets were facing price falls, and those he wanted to replace them with were going in the opposite direction.

Joe made the case for sticking with Mark’s original Gameweek 2 team but it will definitely be an all-new line-up in Gameweek 3.

      Emery stated today in the press conference that he’s not ready to play Laca & Auba together, he said he wants to work on a more possession based game & creating chances. I’m assuming rather than two strikers playing on the shoulder latching onto through balls.... so yeah Laca looks very doubtful.

        He didn’t say that, he said he wouldn’t play 2 upfront together as they’d be too open in midfield. Doesn’t mean Aubameyang couldn’t play on the left and Lacazette upfront

      I'd wait. a -4 is a guarnteed loss with not much trust tomlims would cover it but if Peltier didn't paly u will just lose his points and WB will be back next week

            DDG just... (Last 3 seasons they won 1-0 vs Spurs at home) - and if they keep a CS could well be DDG gets 3 bps and lots of save points. Well worth the risk despite there being less of a chance of a CS

            The team you can build with Kane Auba Aguero Salah is better than what I thought it would be tbh (no premium DEF though)... can be something along the lines of:

                Cheers mate...the palace game vs Watford is what is making it a tough choice. I really like PVA and want to play him as I think they will keep a clean sheet and I like him for a goal or assist. That then has an impact on Foster, especially if I choose to play Zaha and he also does well. Do I take a punt on Fabianski? But then I have Auba! Tough call ahead!
