Where FPL teams concede the most chances from – Part 1

We are using the latest international break to identify trends in the opening 12 Gameweeks of the 2018/19 season.

This study aims to assess where each FPL team is most susceptible when it comes to conceding goals.

Using data available in the Members Area, we have looked at chances conceded from set pieces, through the middle and down the left or right flank.

With the relevant areas pinpointed for the first 10 teams, this first part then compares these with the upcoming schedule to find out which players stand to benefit.

Across the articles in this series the hope is the build a picture of which FPL assets have the most favourable match-ups with specific team weakness over the next six Gameweeks.

Mendy and TAA to Alonso and Bennett (-4)?

Have exact money for this. Ideally I'd do Mendy to Bennett this week and TAA to Alonso next, but I think he'll go up before then.

    Maddison + Mendy + Trippier to Sterling + Digne + Jonny (-8)
-8 seems excessive to most on here but having a Wolves defender in my squad seems sensible going forward so here's Jonny! Digne is a hopeful punt but has been passing the eye test for me.
I will make 0.1 selling Trippier and I can always buy him back in a few GWs time if I really want him. Maddison to Sterling is a obviously a huge upgrade!
    Thoughts?

Yeah, Mendy's injury has changed things and I wanted to sell Maddison anyway regardless of his injury. Think those three new signings could serve me well and there's the option of rotating Jonny/Digne most GWs.

Would you bring in Peltier as a non-playing replacement for Mendy if it means I can do Hughes > Martial for free?

Thinking RAAWBD have decent enough fixtures over the next 2-3 weeks to cover me in defence until WC, when I can reassess.

You could just do Mendy to Digne this week and save a transfer for next week. If no other issues appear u can do the planned move. I do not see the urgency to do all the moves right now. Kenedy just returned some points and has a favorable match up against Burnley and give a last chance to Vardy.

Which Bournemouth asset do I drop going forward? Dont think the double up will be worth it with the fixtures.

    1. Wilson - bought at 6.6m
    2. Fraser - bought at 5.5m

I'm thinking to lose Wilson given I got Fraser at his cheapest and I think he has potential to get similar returns compared to Wilson.

    Any thoughts appreciated!

I'm having Fraser and keeping at the moment. People are forgeting that he offers extremaly good value. One thing that favores Wilson is lack od attractive alternatives. Apart from Arnie, there is noone on his price bracket that catches my eye and makes me feel like getting him.

Probably depends who you want as replacements. I think there are similarly or lower priced forwards who will probably keep pace with Wilson now his fixtures have turned (Arnie, Ings, Jimenez, Murray), not sure the same can be said for mids at Fraser's price point though.

Success out, Jiménez in worth a -4?

    Fabianski
    Alonso Robbo Doherty Digne
    Hazard Salah Martial Richarlison
    Aguero Arnautovic

    Subs: Hamer, Success, AWB, Hojbjerg

    Thinking of transfers below:

    1) Mendy&Obiang to Digne&Dilva
    2) Mendy&Brooks to Digne&Sane

I think Sane is going to be good option in the absence of Mendy as we have seen last season. What do you guys think? I am willing to hear other options instead of Digne, Dilva and Sane.

I've sold but it was to fund Sterling! I also made 0.1 on him before price drop and can buy him back in a few GWs if I think I need him! Also his next two fix are tricky and he's carrying a groin injury which made him a borderline sell in my eyes.

Forget Shaqiri. James Milner has created 16 chances this season. The next highest among those in the midfield is 5 barring tge front 3.

    Have the following team:

    Ryan
    Alonso Robertson Doherty
    Mane Hazard Martial Kenedy
    Vardy Lacazette Aguero

    Button Bennett AWB Kayal

    Which one makes sense:

    1) Vardy + Kenedy to Arnie + Richarlison
    2) Vardy + Mane to Arnie + Sterling

    Thanks a lot!

Have a little more patience with the players you want to transfer out. They have the fixtures, might just blow up.

    Completely Stuck...
    1 FT.... 1.2 ITB
Have exact money to do: Mendy and D ward to Bennett and Martial for-4 ( Risky as Martial doubtful and other injuries may occur in the International break and will then end up with 3 wolves Defenders....
Other option is maybe Digne and someone like Lingaard for Mendy and Bennett? Or anything else?

    Thoughts pls?
