Where FPL teams concede the most chances from – Part 1

We are using the latest international break to identify trends in the opening 12 Gameweeks of the 2018/19 season.

This study aims to assess where each FPL team is most susceptible when it comes to conceding goals.

Using data available in the Members Area, we have looked at chances conceded from set pieces, through the middle and down the left or right flank.

With the relevant areas pinpointed for the first 10 teams, this first part then compares these with the upcoming schedule to find out which players stand to benefit.

Across the articles in this series the hope is the build a picture of which FPL assets have the most favourable match-ups with specific team weakness over the next six Gameweeks.

        Not keen on Mendy, Vardy and having both diagana and H-Odoi. Also frasers fixtures seem tough. Planned on doing Rich, Arni for H-Odoi, Vardy but if i also get rid of mendy then thats a -8 🙁

      I don't know. Of the next ten game weeks for Liverpool, six are away. Mane has scored three of his six goals on the road. I'd keep for now and see how he plays out.

      he has blanked 7/8 last game weeks and costs 10m. i had him up to GW4 and sold for Haz.

      People seem to use him as cheaper "cover" for Salah, for me he doesn't justify the price

      Im keeping. Good fixtures and can easily haul. Haz has been quiet last few weeks too. Everyone has quiet periods regardless of price!

      I started with Salah and Mane, imo Mane is not cover for Salah, Mo has the stats that support his continous points return and always delivered with the armband , so if you want liveŕpool cover it is Salah , if you dont want Salah then finding someone else than mane is the better choice, 10M for 8 blanks is not logic.

      I wouldn't be so sure that Sterling, Martial and Jimenez will outscore Mane, Fraser and Wilson. That's some good options you want to sell for a -8.

          I don't think Arsenal is a bad fixture from an attacking point of view for Bournemouth. And they've got Huddersfield sandwiched in there too, so not all bad.

        Then I would lose the bench headache by doing Mendy to fodder, and just change one of Mane or Fraser to Sterling or Martial (even though, as I said I'm not that convinced that the latter two are better options).

        When do people advise using a wildcard if current team is doing what it needs to do. E.g. keeping me at top of my 40 man mini league and top 10k OR atm sat 4632 :). Team is top of this page

          Some may agree the best time to WC is when you see a big swing in the fixtures. Or more commonly whenever your team is ridden with injuries.
          Wish I had mine intact know.

          I currently have Maddison who I want to upgrade to Martial due to form and upcoming fixtures but I would also like Sterling who I would upgrade from Mané.
          I have Robbo in defence but wouldn't have a Liverpool attacker which I don’t know how I feel about.
          Mané is hit or miss, where as Sterling is involved in a lot of city’s attacking output.

                Okay, I think I’ve decided that I want Trippier as Mendy’s replacement. But he’s dropping at about the same pace as Mendy.
