Fantasy stats: a focus on the lesser-used KPIs and custom table options

Quite a lot of Fantasy analysis on these pages focuses on the same core group of statistics: key performance indicators (KPIs) such as shots on target, shots in the box, big chances and key passes.

There is so much other data available to subscribers in our Members’ Area, however, something that we as editors perhaps overlook too often in our dissections of the underlying stats.

With our half-season memberships available for £10 as of today, we have taken this opportunity to alert new and existing subscribers to some of the lesser-known KPIs and custom search options that could influence our thinking as Fantasy managers.

        Yeah, that's the way I'm leaning, his stats are pretty good this year. 10 yellow cards last year is a little concerning to me though. I wish Ings' hamstrings could hold together.

      I don't think it's that crazy. Son/Hazard to a cheaper midfielder Salah for free would probably be safer, although a little less exciting.

        Yeah I could get someone up to 8 million, maybe Moura for a punt before moving to Son later? Or just Siggy/Rich.. or just get someone like Camarasa and use funds for Arnie maybe

          • 13 Years

          Yeah, that seems the more prudent approach, although having Aguero can be really fun. I've been a big fan of Richarlison but I'm worried he's going to have a second half swoon like last year.

    Thoughts on these 7 transfers for a WC?

    Kane -> Rashford
    Richarlison -> Salah
    Alonso -> TAA

    Martial -> Camarasa
    Wilson -> Arnie

    1. SC not pearls before swine
      • 13 Years
      5 years, 4 months ago

      The Rashford/Jimenez/Arnie front line would worry me a bit. Raul is meh, Arnie is always hurt and Rashford's minutes are somewhat of an unknown although the early indications are positive.

    2. jia you
      • 7 Years

      Losing Kane, Alonso, Felipe, even Rich considering his fixtures is a nah for me! The players being brought in (apart from Salah) look a bit meh imo. Arnie still looking far too injury prone for my liking.
      So, no, dont think those moves anyway merit the WC but GL regardless!

      You will need at least one of Kane, Auba and Kun. If someone explodes and back in form, you'll have to take hits to get him.

    How does this look for a -4? Got 2ft and a couple of players I want to shift

    Ryan, Kola, Snod to Guaita/Etheridge, TAA, Redmond

    Leaves me like this for the coming GW

    Gua/Eth (Fab)
    TAA VVD Digne WanB (Doherty)
    Hazard Salah Martial Redmond (Pereyra)
    Kane Jimi (Kamara)

    Suggestions on which keeper to take between Guaita and Etheridge would be great too. Leaning towards Etheridge as not sure I wasn't double up in 2 defences. Could be a recipe for disaster but also very fruitful at the same time. Thanks

              depends on how much it leaves you of course. Perhaps if the downgrade involves a mid you need to play every week then Alonso works better. Can you do it two with Alonso > TAA and Haz > Salah> Love the Liverpool defense double up

    Is it nonsense to keep sterling and let hazard go (to bring salah in). Ster has been in my team since 7-8 weeks and he has hurt me a lot. I just don't want to lose him yet as both dilva and kdb are back and they have some exciting fixtures. can't decide.

      Not non-sense, Sterling is your ticket to raise up the ranks as holding him to date, I’d imagine have resulted in your rank being chipped away at.

      I have held sterling and sane and will continue to hold them as my rival and most players have sold one or both of them

    My keepers are Mcarthy / Hennessy (don’t ask) obviously sorting this week what is the best option below moving forward?...

    A) Guaita / Hennessy

    B) Gunn / Mcarthy

    C) Etheridge / Mcarthy

        Cheers, I like rash as the right noises are being made for ole on him. If it goes badly, swap to Arnie is on the cards. Agree with rich, keeping an eye on him.

        Clyne signed for Bournemouth
