Aguero and Sané start for Man City as Sterling benched

Fantasy managers who put faith in Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) could be in for one of their most memorable Gameweeks.

The Manchester City forward has defied ‘Pep Roulette’ to start both matches of Double Gameweek 25, named on the team sheet to face Everton on Wednesday night.

The start comes after scoring 17 points in Sunday afternoon’s 3-1 win over Arsenal, in which Aguero scored a hat-trick.

Once again, we should expect a great divide between managers, depending which Manchester City options they backed.

Leroy Sané (£9.8m) comes back into the side after remaining an unused substitute at the weekend, but Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) travels in the opposite direction.

Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) is also named among the subsitutes.

Anyone invested in Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) will be encouraged to know that he has been deployed at left-back.

However, Pep Guardiola is not the only Premier League manager wreaking havoc with Fantasy teams, as Everton have also rotated for this fixture.

The Toffees two most popular Fantasy midfielders Richarlison (£6.8m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) both find themselves on the bench as Marco Silva goes for a 4-3-3 system.

Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Zouma, Keane, Kenny; Davies, Gueye, A Gomes; Bernard, Calvert-Lewin, Walcott.

Man City XI: Ederson; Laporte, Otamendi, Stones, Walker; D Silva, Gundogan, Fernandinho; Sané, Aguero, B Silva.

        Not necessarily, yes the majority of managers will advise this but I don’t agree.

        I think if your bench has favorable fixtures it’s certainly worth a punt.

        Rarely see a bench boost even in a dgw amass more than 20 pts, besides given the close proximity games there is often squad rotation.

          You can use the rate my tool team to get a prediction of the gw you like vs a few options, ie. two games but worse fixtures ..and how many on your bench will have doubles, which is a big factor

            Will have Hamer, Long(CAR), AWB(WHM) and Digne(wat) with a FT to do Hamer to Ryan(BUR).

            Think it might be worth it.

      Thanks guy those are my thoughts. Even in a DGW I’d have quite a few single GW players so the bench will probably still only add 4 extra scores to my team. Unlikely to have a bench that strong any time soon either. Would allow me to use the TC and the FH in 2 DGWs

                The first bit is fair enough, the latter a little outrageous. Each of the players can get a 9 pointer looking at the defenses they play. If none of them do anything, he's likely to get 10. Not sure where the disconnect is, but whatever.

      However I would say sane needs to go before richarlison.

      I’m 90% sure he misses out vs Chelsea. If you have a look at his minutes vs the top 6 teams this season, you’ll see for yourself it’s very unlikely.

        I want him for GW28 though..I'd rather have 5 mins of Sané v CHE versus 90 of Richarlison on current form.

        His PL form isn't that terrible...2 poor games and a no show..prior to that he was doing fantastic. 10 days rest has knocked him off form, it'll come back

    I've got 5.2 to spend on a midfielder as a placeholder until Brooks is fit. Ideally they will have a nice fixture in GW27 as they will have to play. Looking at Paterson or Torreira at the moment, any better options? Full up of Wolves unfortunately.
