The fixture schedules for the “big six” Premier League teams

Fantasy managers will now be planning for the final two Double Gameweeks of the season after a tricky period either side of the international break.

Two Blank Gameweeks and one Double Gameweek have already been navigated and now just five Gameweeks of the season remain, including a double-header for Brighton and Cardiff next week and then a bumper Gameweek 35.

Wildcard or not, FPL bosses will be loading their squads with players with “extra” matches over the next fortnight as well as looking at those assets with the most appealing fixtures in the season run-in once the Double Gameweeks are concluded.

Players from the “big six” will no doubt be dominating our thoughts again: four of those half-dozen clubs have two matches in Gameweek 35, while Liverpool enjoy meetings with Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town before the end of April.

With that in mind, we thought it was worth a look at the schedule for the “big six” clubs over the next month or so, given that all of these teams are still involved in European competition.

Rotation has to be a concern with all six of these sides competing on two fronts, although it will be difficult, for example, to imagine Jurgen Klopp making wholesale changes to his Liverpool side against Cardiff and Huddersfield with the league title on the line.

Below is a club-by-club itinerary for the remaining games of 2018/19.

The fixtures in italics are UEFA Champions League/Europa League ties and we have also included the dates for the next stages of these competitions, in case the teams below progress.

Some of the Premier League games around those semi-finals could be moved back/forward a day if some of the clubs in question advance.

Saw a post saying TC in 35 and BB in 36 for which looked quite good. Wouldn't mind benching Duffy, Ryan, Cam and one other in 35 as tough fixtures. Maybe TC Kane or Jiminez /Jota and BB in 36 when Brighton play Newcastle at home and cam plays Fulham. Hmmm

      Yes, I made it.

It works if you triple Brighton and want Camarasa for GW 34.

Then you bench those players in GW35 with a FT or 2 in GW36 you could have a decent BB team

Prefer bench boost on dgw. When playing these cheap defenders, it’s tough to nail a clean sheet in single game

A player could easily miss out due to random rotation. If you do t mind a 0 for that then sure.

Hmmm, possibly. I guess same in a DGW but then obvs you have the other fixture to make up for it but again might not be as good. Something to maybe think about

The pull off having a potential 8 games on your bench to only four is the down side but I agree much better fixtures.

True. But rather TC Kane with 2 games or something then risk it against Hud in 36 and he doesn't play. Hmmm tricky one

Yes it would free up TC to use in DGW34, though Kane would have city in one where he’s unlikely to score. No one has amazing fixtures. Jiménez I hear some people considering!

GW34 WC team. Bench boosting in GW35. Trying to leave minimum of 0.6m ITB to switch from Camarasa to JWP in GW35.

    Which pairing?

    (A) Duffy + Dohery, 1m ITB

    (B) Dunk + Trippier, 0.6m ITB

    (C) Dunk + Laporte, 0.6m ITB

    ***

    Rest of the team gtg?

    Ryan | Foster
    Bednarek | Kolasinic | TAA
    Doucoure | Son | Sterling | Mane | Camarasa
    Lacazette | Jimenez | Kane

Will be interesting to see how arsenal look today. With 5 out of 7 games away from home I had a look at the stats and Aubameyang is very consistent, with no change to his stats whether he plays home or away, but Lacazette’s shots basically half when playing away. Was all set on Lacazette on wc but thinking keeping Vardy might actually be the better move

Seeing Aguero in very few wildcard teams, what do we reckon? Seems like he’ll be back fit to start against palace. Then he has a dgw he’s guaranteed to start both games in. Surely now seems the perfect time to back the main man?

Don't think anyone is guaranteed with Pep but you have to think he'd favour Aguero in both with those fixtures.

You can never say guaranteed with pep, but I would say it’s hugely likely. They’re both must win v too 6 sides, you’re going to start your number one striker. Jesus scoring against Brighton doesn’t change the fact that Aguero is the main man for the big games

        1. Boyd to Sven
          • 9 Years

The risk of rotation and the price tag is probably why he's not in more teams though. He's definitely first choice, but quite where Pep will rotate is difficult to know.

    See any glaring ”mistakes”?

    Foster Ryan
    Trippier Laporte Kola Duffy Valery
    Sterling Son Bilva Jota Camarasa
    Auba Jimenez Kane

Camarasa to Höjbjerg with ft on 35.
Things that are making me a big uncomfortable:

    -No Pool

I'd prefer Lloris, Duffy and Dunk to Ryan Trip and Duffy I think due to nailedness (if Aurier is back). Love the midfield. Not sold on Auba or Kane completely and would look at Vardy to then maybe upgrade Bilva to Mane if possible. Or Trippier to Robo

Any merit with a BB in 34 with a Cardiff & Brighton bench? Favourable fixtures, cheap nailed players, you can keep Brighton players for 35 and you can drop the Cardiff guys if you want.

Allows you to spend a bit more on your main 11 starters in 35 maybe?

13 spots on my WC team nailed. Currently have Pogba and Dunk and not sure. Thoughts on what to do (0.1m ITB)?

    Trippier Doherty Kolasinac Duffy DUNK
    Sterling Son Doucoure Jota POGBA

Rival put him in so hopefully C! Probably starts after Emery was talking him up but you never know, tough to predict his line-ups.

Who is your weak link there? possible Deulofeu? I coud go to Jota with Duffy to Dunk, or go Jimenez+Deulofeu to Jota+Deeney. Maybe their match today will give me answers.

    Toughts on Rashford over Lacazette?

Would leave enough in the bank to do Sterling -> Salah from GW35. I'm thinking Salah will outscore him regardless of DGW.
