Hazard and Hudson-Odoi start for Chelsea as Higuain returns

The final match of Blank Gameweek 33 takes place this evening, as West Ham United make the short trip across London to face Chelsea. Kick-off at Stamford Bridge is at 20:00 BST.

Eden Hazard and Callum Hudson-Odoi keep their places in Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI and are joined in Chelsea’s front three by Gonzalo Higuain, who replaces the benched Olivier Giroud.

Given Chelsea’s congested fixture schedule and Sarri’s comments on Friday about “having to change”, there are perhaps not quite as many alterations as we anticipated to the Blues’ line-up.

Sarri’s only other change is an expected one, with Antonio Rudiger replacing Andreas Christensen at centre-half.

Pedro has recovered from injury to take his place among the substitutes alongside Christensen, Giroud, Willian, Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic.

There is no Marcos Alonso in the squad, with the Spanish left-back having been a doubt for this match after suffering a hamstring injury.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has recovered from back and hamstring problems to start, however.

After the Hammers’ dismal display against Everton in Gameweek 32, there is perhaps no surprise that Manuel Pellegrini has made five changes to his starting XI.

Marko Arnautovic isn’t one of those changes, however, despite Javier Hernandez‘s return to the West Ham team.

Felipe Anderson and Ryan Fredericks have recovered from injury to start, while Fabian Balbuena is in the Hammers’ starting XI for the first time since December.

Mark Noble is also recalled as Issa Diop, Pablo Zabaleta, Robert Snodgrass, Pedro Obiang and Lucas Perez make way.

All bar Zabaleta of that quintet are among the substitutes tonight.

West Ham were the first team to prevent Hazard from registering an attacking return this season when the two clubs drew 0-0 in Gameweek 6.

The Belgian winger was the third-most-bought and third-most-captained Fantasy asset of Gameweek 33.

Noble is the only member of West Ham’s starting XI to score or assist an away goal this calendar year.

The Hammers are without a victory away from the London Stadium since December.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have kept clean sheets in seven of their last ten home league matches.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson, Kante, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Higuain, Hazard.

West Ham United XI: Fabianski, Fredericks, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Noble, Rice, Anderson, Lanzini, Arnautovic, Hernandez.

Whats ur view about salah on a wc?
    1) getting due to ownership n not expected him to perform as gd as dgw player
    2) getting him to due to his mini revival, nailness and a potential captaincy in gw36
    3) not getting him as too expensive and mane is a good alternative
    4) not getting him to load up on more dgw players

I have a low team value so getting him in would mean not having someone like Kane or Eriksen.

    My latest WC iteration:

    Ryan/Foster

TAA/Cathcart/Duffy/Valery/(Either VVD or Trippier - Can't decide yet)

    Mane/Son/Jota/Redmond/Martial

    Kane/Jimi/Murray

    GW35 Murray > Deeney

    GW36 Deeney > Aguero

    Thoughts?

Use Lloryan for better gk rot.

Boot Trip/VVD - TAA is enough cover. Much better to go with Doherty and and another BHA i.e Dunk.

Milfs are weak and would rather have Salah in there.

Murray is a waste - get Vardy or Deeney.

I'd much rather have Foster for his DGW than Lloris going against City. I'm dumping Salah for Mane. as would rather have the extra $ for pretty much the same scoring.

I don’t get the Foster pick. WAT barely keep any cs, the basis for any GJ pick. Lloryan a much better pick not just for the dgws but for the rest of the season which many are overlooking.

Similar D to mine so you must be doing something right.

I have ignored CTY due to the rot and their fixtures.

Son may be a better pick than Erik.

Watford have literally kept more clean sheets than Brighton this season. Watford have significantly better DGW35 fixtures for the bench boost and then Lloris can start every other week

Worth considering Firmino (differential) over Mane (cover) for UCL today? How have Firmino's stats been lately?

Guys! In a real dilemma here. Managed to catch up in mini league but opponents still have their WC. Any transfer tips for this GW and the next few would be much appreciated as i really don't know what the right call is. 1FT ITB.

    TAA Robbo Kola Duffy
    Tiele Mane Haz Sterl

Look at the WC teams and take the pieces you think are important.
Looks a decent team for this week if Chelsea don't score.
          No Spurs may hurt.

i agree w u, i see hazard pretty much a home player and someone playing for his bigger paycheck to marid or stay at chelsea

i am not willing to sell an in form player before home game agst burnley.

      Is it WC?

Too weak defenders. Foster to Gunn as you won't play your second GK for the rest of season (you may save 0.3). Robbo to TAA and upgrade Bennett to Doherty, I won't suggest for having 4 defenders below 5.0 mio.

Are you sure with Salah for now? I think get him on 36 would be better than stick with him for now.
