Surprised to see Pep trusting Mahrez tonight but like watching him so I'm happy!

Yeah it seems a bizarre one, there must be some sort of tactical decision that none of us mere mortals understand.

IMO opinion Sane is a much better player

Both are great options - slight preference for A but I’d want Salah in for GW36

    Why does Pep hate Sane?

    repost, sorry

Everyone worried about Aguero and Sterling rotation, but which other premium mids and forwards are most likely to play both DGW games?

Even with Kane and Eriksen, you'll still have another DGW premium spot.

Do you go with Sterling or Aguero and hope for the best, but accept they may only get one game?

Yes there is high risk but I think most will have at least 1 of Sterling or Aguero

Very important to have the word 'second' in there just in case people confuse it with their first wildcard

Always gamble on predictions. Little value (betting wise) on going for the most expected outcome - especially in football.

The ball hits the arm so you could argue penalty but the Yellow card is a bit of an insult though

To me, there really is no argument on these plays...every ball that hits a hand/arm while a player is in the box is "almost", by default a penalty if the hand/arm is extended away from the body in an unnatural position. Like Rose just did. The second deciding factor is how far away the ball is when struck and did the "ball play the hand" rather than "hand play the ball".

You said it in CAPS so it must be true. The only way it could be more true would be if you finished the sentence with "FACT".

Because Im soooo tired of people on here ignorantly claiming, "No Penalty" when it so obviously is. Happens all the time.

Still think it was a penalty? Seems like anyone that's ever played the game thinks otherwise.

I do. Ex-Players are often the worst to get an opinion from because they're biased and used to 'older' interpretations and unwilling to accept the new realities. Ex-Referees aren't.

Agreed. It's a worrying use of VAR

For consistency it's good because if Man U made it through on less than that, it had to be a pen. But I don't think it's right at all.
