Why I’m lining up for FPL Gameweek 3 without any Chelsea players

A Fantasy Premier League veteran of 11 years, Darren Wiles has an incredible track record with three top 1k finishes in the last four seasons.

With so many favourable match-ups in Gameweek 3, I am feeling confident about the next round of Fantasy Premier League.

It has been a positive start thus far, anyway, with 80 and 90-point hauls in the first two Gameweeks taking me to a total of 170 and an overall rank of 29k.

The goals have been flying in so far and I have been lucky enough to capitalise on the early glut of double-digit returns. But all of that is in the past, and it’s what happens this weekend that matters now.

Here is what my team looks like for Gameweek 3 and the reasons behind some key decisions.

          I feel I won’t be needing Bruno but will wait and see. If I lose Salah I’d get VVD and considered this on wc too.
          Just too many bloody options ha. Can’t have every shiny toy

        Funny enough I just had Hamez/Brewster and moved out on wc. Figured I could always do that move again for -4 but didn’t want to be stuck in case Brewster stayed

      I have James Podence and Barnes and one will probably need to give way for Foden.
      Zaha ain’t a bad pick either. Just been there before and it usually doesn’t work out. He is due a transfer window shutting sulk 🙂

    Is Van Dijk worth having as your only pool defence? .
    If you cant afford rob or taa, is it just worth dropping him to semedo or another 5-5.5 and using that 1 mil elsewhere.

      Not a bad pick, but Spurs arent exactly very convincing (Soton seemed like a massive exception). Also he is quite expensive when there are so many other budget strikers getting high returns
