    This defence too weak?

    Mendy Ward
    Robbo Walker Tripp Zinc Neco
    Salah Kulu Martinelli Bailey Andreas
    Haaland Darwin Jesus

    Thanks

With that midfield, yes. You have to be very confident in Darwin to spend so much on the front 3.

I love the front three - I've had them together for a week or so but changing it now so I can have the TAA, Robbo and Salah.

I think ill be in on Dawin for the wildcard, I'm just hesitant with all the bench talk and with the early WC Strat if feels like going for those nailed premium assets is the sensible thing.

I do think he's going to be dynamite though, good luck!

Oh and for the backline, could you nick a bit off Tripp/Zinc and pump Robbo to TAA?

50/50. You could just get a 5.0M like Zinchenko/Digne/Cash/Gabriel/Trippier/Walker and just keep 0.5M in the bank. Perisic has high potential but if he hasn't got an attacking return before half time (provided he starts), you'll just be worrying about a 59 min sub.

I'm a Wolves fan but thinking that we'll end up a good team to target (in terms of betting against) considering most of our players have little experience in the last few years in a back 4 and the fact we've also apparently sold MGW to Forest and Coady's fixture in unsettled now he's being sidelined. It doesn't look desperate but the signs are not positive. Even my 4.5M Ait Nouri punt is looking not great considering the system change and the over-reliance on Sa last season. Neto is a very good player but I would worry with a predictable and tired midfield of Dendocker, Neves and Moutinho, coupled with no established striker, will just make his output not good enough despite the cheap price.

    1. F4L
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 8 months ago

wait is MGW actually being sold? Got both him and Lingard right now, that transfer going through would be a bummer for both of them as FPL options imo

and do you think you'll stick with a 4 back even with no recognised striker?

        https://twitter.com/NatJacksonsport/status/1555272899472379906

I think we'll give 4 at the back a few games. As much as I like Podence and Neto individually we'll have to play like the Black Country 2010 Barca to score goals considering the lack of height and physical presence.

damn, crazy time to sell but I guess it's a lot of money for a player who hasn't done much at the highest level just yet

and cheers, that's interesting. will probably have to avoid Wolves attack for now, and tbh hearing you'll likely stick in a 4 back makes me want to get Bamford in , sorry 😛

  22. adstomko

For those tired of seeing the template, here's a differential draft:

    Iversen
    Trent, Robertson, Cancelo
    Salah (C), Maddison, Mount, Martinelli
    Jesus, Wilson, Bamford
    (Ward, N.Williams, Patterson, Andreas)

Bamford a placeholder for emerging cheaper strikers, then can use savings for better GK if needed.

Why are people choosing Son over Kane?

Pros for Kane seems to be in better pre-season form, on pens and 0.5m cheaper.

Pros for Son the extra point for goals, the clean sheet point, his end of last season form and higher flexibility for shifting to other mids?

This decision does my head in…

    A - Sanchez + James + Saka
    B - Ramsdale + Mount + Martinelli

    1. schlupptheweek
      • 9 Years

I like Mount more because mids is where the biggest bandwagons and price rises are likely to occur with the premium wing backs ownership being close to saturation in terms of ownership. Chelsea's defence looks like it might take time to gel so waiting 3-4 games could be shrewd.

    2. Assisting the assister
      • 8 Years

Yeah Mount could work well with Sterling and Havertz
