Yep, exact same problem - Estupinan (first priority blocking Lamptey on my bench) and then Reguilón need to go. At least Bowen clawed some points back this GW.

Might just delay the Solanke move and wait a week.

I think I’m gonna knee jerk Hwang ➡️ Luiz/ Bailey if Wolves are confirmed to blank 29…
    What you guys think?

    1. Holmes
      • 10 Years
      5 months, 18 hours ago

not the worst move. Luiz is more of a home player and Newcastle are poor defensively, so you can delay the move by one week.

    2. The Ilfordian
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Seems a bit knee jerky. Depends on your GW29 strategy which depends on results in the next couple of days but I like Hwang v Newcastle and Fulham whereas Luton at home followed by Spurs sounds more difficult.

I’ve seen worse ideas but I don’t think I’ll be doing it unless half my team suddenly look like they’ll play the blank week

Who to bench this week? Was on Bowen, but reconsidering after last night..

    B - Diaz (nfo)
    C - Martinelli (shu)

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

        Saka - Foden - Diaz - Mart - Bowen
        Solanke - Haaland - Watkins

One of them has to benched 🙁

        1. Silecro
          • 6 Years
          5 months, 18 hours ago

Probably Foden or Bowen, reluctantly, but it could backfire massively. Although anyone of those 8 you bench could backfire.
Hell, judging by the form, maybe Haaland should be the one benched, but thats not an option

        2. Gommy
          • 14 Years
          5 months, 17 hours ago

I’m in the similar situation but have Hwang instead of Martinelli (so maybe slightly better off than you).

Nevertheless, I’m seriously looking to run the risk of benching Haaland this week. Thinking the Manc Derby will be tighter than expected.

I went into this week with 11 playing including my 5 defenders, it meant I didn’t have to take a hit. I wasn’t expecting miracles but my five playing defenders netted me a grand total of 1 point. I had a 2, 1, 0, -1 & -1.

I dropped 30 points to my rival, he did use his freehit

Very tempted to just ignore Haaland on a WC and have a front 7 of

A no-Haaland team is tempting given the number of premium alternatives.

I personally wouldn’t pick KDB as I think he’ll continue to have minutes managed and I think there’s an argument for a front three (both Solanke and Toney). I’d also worry about the Bowen renaissance and would put Palmer in every team.
