What is the thinking re porro v udogie?

Had porro since gw8 and been decent overall so not sure I want to to swap on the likely gw30 wildcard....thanks

Maddison has taken alot of free kicks away from Porro

Aah. Didn't know that. Feels dangerous to swap spurs defenders when I had porro all season tho!

For all that think when to play BB chip -> keep in mind that usually you play 8th attacker and 3 players at the back (on your bench). Guess you have to outweigh the best probability for double Clean Sheets between both double gameweeks. 8th attacker is easy, plenty to choose.

The thing I hate the most is that usually last two gameweeks of the season are high scoring and Clean Sheets are harder to predict. Also any intensive planning for later stages of the game is probably not worth it. And exactly this gameweek you can go crazy with team selection (what if R.James is back? Maybe some City DEFs will be injured and we'll have one DEF that is almost certain to play both games, etc.)

GK spot: GW34 keepers could be a tad better than ones playing GW37 but it's a tie
DEF spots: GW34 C.Palace, Arsenal, Liverpool and dare I say Everton IMHO have better chance of double CS than GW37 BHA, MUN, TOT and MCY -> actually I expect more goals in that fixtures than CSs

    My 2 cents

Im just not sure on that third Liverpool spot. I feel only VVD and Salah are nailed I don't really trust Darwin (shock) or Diaz to start two games in a row. And with so many other options is it even worth risking it?

Isnt the duo Bowen and Madison much better duo to start than Gallagher and gordon? Any reason why they're eboth in b nch ahead of them
At least Watkins starts deservedly so

As individual players, they're currently better. But, G & G probably offer more energy and tracking back for this team. Don't think Gareth fancies Maddison as a starter. Bowen probably doesn't make the cut, when everyone is fit. The other two have a potential future in the squad

Maddison plays CAM, Gallagher plays CM. Maddison isnt a starter simply because of Bellingham

Those DGW fixtures are dross imo. I reckon my team in GW32, 33, 35, and 36 will outscore whatever I put out in GW34 and 37. Tempted to use BB and FH in single game weeks.

    1. GREEN JUMPERS
      • 3 Years

Dross is harsh. 3 Pool, 3 Arsenal, 2 Palace, Solanke and a couple Wolves and Everton (including a gk) seems pretty good on a FH to me. And I can use transfers without having to factor 34

      1. RichardNixon
        • 7 Years
        1 month, 16 days ago

Sure. The point I'm making is that I already have or can get plenty of DGW players for GW34 and GW37 without ripping my team apart for the plum SGW fixtures. I have a feeling that I'll beat my points total between now and the end of the season if I follow this approach and not try to get DGW players just for the sake of it.

Good all around then but no way I'd use chips in single gws now. You can keep Spurs and Chelsea if you have them. Personally, I'm going FH34, WC 36 and BB 37. Good chance of 11 doublers followed by 14/15 doublers this way

            He’s like Mayweather.

They create a character that portrays a villain.

Everyone wants to see them be beat, and they know that because it means more views or attention. That takes emotional intelligence.

I’m not talking about being likeable. That’s different.

I probably would if I had Bou players, but with none and triple Spurs dead ending gw34 doesn't look great. However, I am considering unorthodox strategy to dead end to BB37 and WC if that is doable.

The follow-up was on. But, the player with the initial shot seemed off. There was a still frame with someone in the left back slot playing them on. Difficult to tell what phase that was. Will be interesting to see another replay. Well, maybe not that interesting 😀

Petrovic Dubravka is probably the best keeper combo.

Saka not required anymore with bad fixtures - could be Madders or Foden.

Or alternatively Petrovic is only one slip from letting Sanchez back in, and Nick Pope will return at some point before 37.
