Tough one and depends on your appetite for risk.
Darwin is a near to being suspended and might cameo against SHU (see article). If he does get a 2 match ban and you need to sell him then you'd be forced to decide who your 3rd strikers for BB37 is, I'm not sure its that clear yet. Huge upside though.
Cunha is only just back from injury - does he actually play? Better pick if WC31 and you can see what happens.
Maddison is perhaps not as good a pick as Richarlison playing no. 9 for Spurs but the latter also may not be fit - so leaving a 3rd Spurs spot open for him in a few weeks e.g. for Saka might be a plan.

A play safe pick might be Solanke/Garnacho?

I am thinking going for Darwin and then moving him to Hojlund from 35 onwards when Man Utd fixtures improve
Not a huge fan of Darwin tbh but I don't think there are any good fwd options for the next 8-9 games apart from Haaland and Isak.
Muniz has City in 37 and no DGW so not too keen on him as well

I will respond with my own WC which I'm looking for feedback on. Also no FH. Very similar. I'm bending over backwards to include Saka. Also I like my price on Solanke so riding it out with him through 34.

      Petrovic, Kelleher
      Gabriel, Gusto, Porro, Lascelles, Branthwaite
      Son, Saka, Salah, Palmer, Garnacho
      Haaland, Darwin, Solanke

Kelleher might lose his spot nefore dgw34. Petrovic doesn't double.
I'd do Isak to Semenyo and lose Garnacho.
      Don't like the Lascelles pick.
Will need Saka after this week without losing Son until dgw34.
Foden to Gordon if you fancy Newcastle. Allows even more upgrades in keepers and defence.

Maybe true 6 months ago. Kiwior's understanding of being LB under Arteta has improved drastically in the past 5/6 weeks. Factor in Zinchenko's waning abilities and constant giving away of the ball in key areas, I think Kiwior is better at doing Zinchenko's role than Zinchenko is now.

When to WC is obviously team dependant but what are the benefits of GW35 over GW30/31?

Team looks okay this week offensively other than being Salah-less but defence is poor with two Arsenal (away at City), one City, Doughty (away to Spurs) and Baldock (Dubravka between the sticks)

    Any advice greatly appreciated

    1. Tonyawesome69
      • 5 Years

Primarily due to the teams doubling in 34 are different to 35/36 and 37. Also other chips have an impact on when to WC as well

Thanks AC/DC. Yes I have WC, FH and BB remaining. Only have 1 Spurs (Son) and 1 Chelsea (Palmer) so I guess I could target another player from each this week (1FT) and next (1FT) and then FH GW34. WC GW35 and BB GW37

The benefits are that you can zero in on more doubles from teams such as MCI, MUN, CHE, NEW and Spurs. I'm not sure that is not a good enough reason to hold out if your defence is so poor, it's a potential trap, especially as teams might rotate if targets have already been met/missed.

Yes, defenders aren't scoring points this season, but we have to at least try.

It seems the content creators went to early on wildcard 1 about 7 weeks in and are now going to go too late on wildcard 2.

        Brilliant news.

Thanks Joey. So far, holding off on chip usage has paid off (I didn’t FH in GW29 and despite only fielding 5, didn’t lose ground) but I get your point. Defence is a struggle this week but I could move Saliba > Udogie or Gusto which would ease things a little. Then do Solanke > Darwin next week. Would leave me Salahless though. That’s the biggest gain for triggering WC right now but I do like the idea of GW35

Hard to gauge how important it is to get Salah this week… can’t get to him for a -4 that doesn’t include Watkins out.
