Monitor – Roberto Firmino

Summer arrival Mohamed Salah may have dominated the Fantasy scene on Merseyside, but the Egyptian is not the only player to have enjoyed a sterling season under Jurgen Klopp.

Roberto Firmino has been near metronomic in his consistency throughout the campaign, dispelling any notion that a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) re-classification (from midfielder to forward) would negatively impact his value.

Indeed, in his first year as an FPL striker, the Brazilian currently ranks third in overall points – a mere four points behind Fantasy royalty, Sergio Aguero.

Firmino’s Premier League track record is a formidable one, having recorded double-digit goals in every one of his Premier League campaigns to date. This year, however, the Liverpool attacker has elevated his goal threat to another level: a total of 14 strikes is already a career high, and his strike rate sits at an all-time peak.

Even so, we now found Firmino suffering heavy sales with managers now distracted by Double Gameweek striker options. The Brazilian is the most transferred out player ahead of Gameweek 33, with over 61,000 already disposing of his services.

Does Firmino’s form justify that exodus or is there a risk that he could immediately punish his doubters? Our latest Monitor article examines the data to assess the outlook.

I'm going Alli over Kane and getting rid of Salah. Risky business time.

How is my potential wildcard looking?

    DDG - Ryan
    Christensen - Lowton - Dunk - Chambers - Simpson
    Salah - Mahrez - Son - Lingard - Gross
    Kane - Lukaku - Barnes

Looks good but you will want Man City players in for DGW37 (HUD BHA)

GW33: Lukaku (mci) > Kane (sto), GW34: Auba (new) > Lukaku (WBA, bou), GW35: FH Lukaku (blank) > Auba (WHM)

    Pope
    Christensen, Chilwell, Duffy,
    Willian, Groß, Sterling, Salah, Mili
    Auba, Lukaku,
    DDG, Barnes, Lowton, Smalling

I realise the danger of rotation with Sterling & Salah and that my midfield is weaker in other areas due keeping them but I have value tied up in both and they have good fixtures post GW34

Will be most grateful for any suggestions/advice

There were other factors. Early wildcarders got rather lucky in 32.

So most likely what is the ideal line-up gw32 are building for gw37.with only 2 transfers after FH what is the optimal team for gw37 tcers or not planning now and taking hits
From ur current gw32 team how many will start in gw37?. If we plan to get kane after gw34 and also looking at City options for dgw37 with swans budget options will that mean too many hits. So does that make getting kane in gw34 optimal to focus on other transfers for gw37??
